An exclusive offering of Japanese-inflected High Tea by our Richmond branch in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. A sweet and savory selection showcasing classic and trending seasonal flavors from Japan. You will find White chocolate mousse with black sesame filling, White peach-infused terrine parfait with various toppings and snow-white macaron with mango ganache; 3 kinds of hand-made premium Inari Sushi, Salmon(fully cooked) with Wasabi Mayo, Grilled Unagi with Yuzu Mayo and Seaweed salad with white sesame, Up next? Full of TSUJIRI premium matcha flavor Basque cheesecake; Japanese traditional sweet soy sauce marinated dango, Japanese Radish seasoned with white dashi soup, refreshed Yuzu Honey jello, paired with Iced Yuzu Hojicha tea ( hot version also available upon request)

I have enjoyed the afternoon tea service twice in this last year. Each time, the offering was different, having changed with the season, and lovely in taste and variety and presentation. So when my sister and cousin were visiting from out of town, this was the place I thought of to spend time together. I booked online using Open Table. Imagine my surprise when we showed up at the restaurant for our 12 noon booking, only to find that the restaurant was closed! The note on the window said there was cleaning of the grease trap to be done. Disappointment- yes- but also annoyed that my booking had been allowed to go through as if the restaurant were open for business. Please call to book over the phone, FYI!

Had afternoon tea before but never a Japanese one. This is a pleasant surprise. For the same price I got savory and sweetness in an wonderful environment. What’s treat.

We were looking forward to trying the Japanese Tea Set for months and perhaps this expectation and all the great things we heard about it elevated our expectations. The food selection was more than sufficient; however, all the desserts were a bit too much "sweet" to handle in one sitting. Even the 3 savory inari sushi pockets were sweet. The seating was very cramped and our table of 4 was right beside another table of 5 -- all of us fitting within a 5'x10' space; my friend was sitting shoulder to shoulder with another patron on the same bench seat against the window, right at the entrance. Had there been more space the entire experience may have been more enjoyable. Instead of refilling the hot tea pots, a 1L thermos was left in the middle of the table. Convenient, but aside from putting down the platter of food and delivering the thermos of hot water there wasn't much "service" involved during our 2-hr. seating time. Hoping to give it another try if they change the menu to include more savory items. All the hype on social media was just that - pretty presentation but mediocre offerings.

Beautiful Hightea set! We enjoy the food and tea but the table at their front area is a bit too small. It seems a bit crowded when walk in customers come in. The back private room is much better.

Lack of drinks options. Food was mediocre. Yuzu frappe tasted very bitter. Some pastries were overly sugary.

The quality and portion of the high tea was really worth it! Great balance between sweetness and savoury. I didn’t expect to be so full and ended up being super stuffed by the time we finish. Recommend making a reso if you want high tea!
