Tujague's is the second oldest restaurant in New Orleans. This French Quarter institution has been serving traditional New Orleans cuisine to locals and visitors alike for more than 160 years.

Lore states that brunch originated here, as did the Grasshopper cocktail. Homages to the restaurant's long and colorful history abound within the interior of the building from the classic 19th century architecture to memorabilia on the walls.

Menu items such as the seared gulf fish and the daily gumbo meld French traditions with New Orleans fare and flare. Our famous five course menu is still served nightly; but have no fear, the menu is no longer pre-fixe, so those less ravenous diners can join in too.

If you want a quintessential New Orleans experience filled with history and local fare, Tujague's is your place.

Welcome to Tujague’s, founded by French immigrants in 1856, and still letting the good times roll for more than 160 years. Today it’s a slice of history in the French Quarter, filled with mirrors, chandeliers, and a collection of 6,000 mini liquor bottles. Don’t miss the spicy shrimp remoulade, boiled brisket, and grasshopper cocktail, another house original.

Grab your broomstick and fly over to Tujague’s for our Witches Luncheon on Friday, October 31st! Chef has created a three course menu for the occasion priced at $56 per person plus tax & gratuity. No Bottomless will be offered during this brunch service. Reservations can be made through OpenTable or by calling 504-525-8676. We have availability between 11am-2:15pm. We were seated 2 hours before we reveived our food Wait staff was inattentive and inefficient 2 parties had cold food Others enjoyed their meal however the wait with reservations made in advance was unacceptably too long

We had a group of 9. The speed of service was a bit slow, but our group did get orders taken and I’m. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They may have been a bit short on staff as our food wasn’t as hot as it should have been, one of our group had hers warmed up. The flavors were spot on. We ordered some dessert, the bread pudding was delicious. A great way to finish the meal.

Ordered prefix menu but still took 30 min for the dessert. The people at the table that ordered a la cart ordered and ate their dessert and waited with us. We finally asked and the server just mentioned that it will be out and then another server mentioned that they had the other floors to the restaurant so the kitchen was busy. Overall, food was mediocre and not worth the price.

Another lonely night eating alone. Thank god for Tujagues. The food was impeccable and there is several new (to me) items that I’m looking forward to having again very soon!!

Very nice evening was had by all. Everything was delicious and very fresh tasting. Our server was patient and timed everything perfectly.

As a neighborhood regular I decided to switch up from my usual dish and ordered the braised short rib with polenta the polenta was absolutely excellent and was extremely flavorful. The short rib was perfectly fork, tender, and the taste melted in my mouth. Admittedly, I am not a fan of spinach, but this spinach was perfectly done and I actually really enjoyed eating it. I’ll have to come back very soon and order this dish again. 10 out of 10. Recommend!
