Originated from the famed Uchi restaurant in Austin, founded by James Beard Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole, Uchiko specializes in robust flavors infused with smoke and hints of char balanced with the fresh and clean profile that is the hallmark of its sister concept Uchi. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. Patio seating is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Happy Hour is offered everyday from 4:00 - 6:00 and on Sunday - Wednesday from 4pm - 10pm at the bar only. We look forward to serving you, Kanpai!

It was busy on NYE but we still felt attended to. It was a great first experience and we would dine here again. Our waiter Eric was wonderful and recommended a couple of items that paired well with what we ordered. Definitely recommend ordering from their daily specials since those items will differ from the standard Uchi menu. Strong cocktails too. Pricey meal but we expected it and the quality was worth it.

Uchiko is typically one of our absolute favorites. However, tonight was a disappointing night. I’m not sure what happened tonight in the kitchen, but every single piece of nigiri was served with significantly over seasoned rice which overpowered each main ingredient on top. This is totally uncharacteristic of this wonderful restaurant. We ended up only sending back one item because it felt wrong to send back all of the sushi. However, the rest of the dishes and dessert were lovely.

We loved the appetizers, the quality of the Wagyu was unbelievable, and it is definitely a special place. The price point is recent for the quality and uniqueness

Worst service ever. Slow for food and cocktails and half of the menu was sold out but our weighter didnt let us know. Then we ordered desert and salty plates kept on arriving… just bad service overall

We had a 7:15 reservation on a Monday. We were finally seated at 8:15 ,but only after my wife complained about the inordinate wait. To their credit, the restaurant comped our drinks. Unfortunately the waiting continued after we were seated. The waiter must have bern overburdened because he was scarce. I ordered the entire meal when he finally came for our drink order for fear we wouldn’t see him again. The waiter warned us there would be a delay in the food arriving, and he wasn’t wrong. Our waiter brought us an order of Brussel Sprouts at one point to try to keep us from gnawing off our arms. The food was delicious so no complaint there. We exited after 10 p.m. which is simply too long.

Everything was fantastic but the service was phenomenal! Coming back this week because our waitress was just so incredible! Thank you for the unforgettable service and dinning experience! (The hostess was also lovely and made our night special)

Was a little bummed for my birthday they stuck us in a corner booth at the bar which had no ambiance and I thought they would offer a dessert for my birthday and they did nothing.
