Food was great, as always. Service was slow and the restaurant appeared to be in the middle of reconfiguration. We were sat in what used to be the entrance of the restaurant. Just didn’t have a good ambiance.

Everything was ok but not as good as it used to be. The menus had dried food all over them so that was a turn off. The food portions were smaller and not as good as times before. I think restaurant is under new ownership so,Abbe they will improve. I’m not sure if I would go back anytime soon.

Always very noisy. Had reservations and sat while others walking were being seated. Ordered drinks and took 25 minutes! Waitress was completely disengaged...nothing more than a delivery means for the food...zero personality. Food was ok...not as good as I've had before. Bottomline: will not go back for a while. Something has gone wrong at Union Hill Grill.

Always enjoy going to this restaurant! Service was average with server not as attentive as she should have been. Not knowledgeable as to menu items - asked what the special was and all she said was Chicken Parmesan - never said anything more. Slow to check on us for wine and if we were happy with our choices. Like the ambience of the new renovation and expansion and the quietness of the dining rooms! My wife ordered her "go to entree" - crab cakes but she was not happy with how much sauce was put over the cakes making the crab cakes mushy. Sauce was very good! Same for the salmon entree. A little more training of staff and more chef supervision should greatly improve this restaurant. Will be back again in 2025!

We have been here several times, the food is usually pretty good. However, the last couple of times we have dined here The service has been terribly slow and inattentive. I hope management will correct this problem soon or I am sure that it will be a deterrent for future dining.

Consistently great food and even better staff. The drink menu is awesome, amazing margaritas. Short ribs are wonderful.

We ordered 3 dinners. Meatloaf with mashed potatoes, a beet salad, a fish dinner. All of them were barely warm. Not quite sure what the reasoning behind that was. The salad hadn't been completely dried before they applied the rest of the ingredients so that made for a strange soggy mess. Unfortunate because that was our first visit and it definitely scared us off.

I had the best beef short rib dinner that I have ever eaten in my life! The meat was not fatty and had a nice deep wine gravy. The risotto was perfectly done (not always the case in restaurants). The house salad is a long-time favorite of mine with the house miso dressing. Mel was our server. She had perfect timing with our service and had a delightful presence. This restaurant is a neighborhood jewel!
