From the moment you walk in the beautiful door, and are greeted by the lovely hostess you feel welcome and elegant. The service is impeccable from every aspect top to bottom. Amazing drinks, ambiance, food and knowledge. Truly the best NYC has to offer!

From the super secret and beautiful entrance door to the elevator up to the restaurant to the helpful people guiding us into the atrium to the waiter (Renoir) who stayed close and attended to us throughout our stay, to the salads in a bowl made of sliced cucumber to the main courses served with generous portions and cooked beautifully to the exquisitely plated dessert, it was a romantic evening for two we will never forget.

Wine list prices are ridiculous. Not a single bottle under $150, only two under $200. Average $300 or $400 plus.

What a terrific find. Located on the second floor off a tree lit stone walkway. From the moment we walked in, it felt very welcoming. Food was delicious. Service is attentive but not overwhelming. Several rooms for private parties. Can't wait to go back in warmer weather for the outdoor terrace area.

Another amazing meal at Valbella! The food was delicious and the service excellent. We live downtown so mostly stay in our neighborhood but we always have a great time there and will try and get back soon!

As others have stated, the wine list is outrageous with little know bottles under $200 which is extremely disappointing. Even for NYC it’s ridiculous and greedy. Ownership should reevaluate this unfortunate condition.
