   We dined indoors on a slow night. Thus, the room was pretty much empty. Service was sooo attentive.

   Greet food; very reasonable portions to not feel stuffed. Excellent cocktails. Sunset views from the patio are impressive. Service was very personable with helpful recommendations. Parking was a little challenging with a wedding and the Hudson Valley Theater Festival on site but helpful staff in the lot got us to a spot.

   Allergy protocol needs review. Became ill due to cross contamination despite being very specific about a shellfish allergy.

   We had an excellent meal of mixed Mediteranean appetizers, flank steak and lamb on skewers, key lime mousse, and some wine before seeing an HSVF performance of Roger Akroyd (which was also very good).

   As always, The Valley was a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion. In this case, the chef and wait staff went above and beyond to make my father’s 90th birthday brunch memorable. Everyone was attentive and thoughtful, and the chef surprised us with a delicious birthday key lime tart at the end. Took some beautiful scenic photos from the porch to commemorate the day and left smiling. Thank you!!!

   Very friendly place and great food. Just the right kind of food for a pre-theater dinner, well-seasoned, nicely presented and very yummy.

   I recommend this restaurant for first-time visitors to HVSF. But repeat visits will be a bit predictable. The appetizer is tasty but it's always the same, and the the main course choices are limited. I had the sea bass and realized it's exactly what I ate last year! It is a very attractive presentation but not terribly flavorful. Dessert was very good, though!

    We had dinner here before attending a performance of the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. The service was friendly and helpful (and prompt), and the food was excellent. No problem with timing to get to the performance.
