With a 5-star rating and over 600 reviews on TripAdvisor, we are an authentic Italian wine café offering quality Sicilian wines and spuntini appetizers across the UK.

In the spring of 2013, two Italian guys in their twenties met in Manchester and discovered a shared passion for the Italian Aperitivo—a cherished ritual of drinking, nibbling, and relaxing after work. By the end of that year, Veeno was born, providing a place to enjoy exceptional wines and authentic spuntini, including platters of meats, cheeses, and other appetizers from select Italian producers.

Our wines come from Caruso & Minini, our family vineyard in Sicily, where great-grandfather Antonio planted the first vines in the 19th century. We continue to bring that quality and tradition from our bottles to your glass

    Our signature experience offers 6 wines to taste, all from the family vineyard in Marsala, Sicily. 2 whites, 1 rose, 2 reds, (70 ml each) will be accompanied by Italian meats and cheeses of the highest quality and bruschetta al pomodoro. One of our team members will give an introduction to each wine and explain which appetiser best complements each wine. To finish things off. A glass of sweet wine (25ml) will be perfectly paired with our delicious homemade tiramisu.

We ordered pasta dishes, my spaghetti was over cooked and also overpriced for the ingredients it had - the taste was very plain.

                                                                                                        The cheese board was nice, as a starter. The tuna bruschetta & tuna Caesar salad were very disappointing. The bruschetta was literally just 2 bits of toasted supermarket bread with tinned tuna & red onions on. The salad was a small plate of chopped iceberg or something similar, tasted very watery, with some bits of tinned tuna on. It said blue cheese dressing, but I couldn’t taste anything. My boyfriend said his lasagne was “OK”. The sharing tiramisu with Marsala wine was lovely, we enjoyed that. The restaurant is really nice, the service was good, we had a good time & didn’t want to complain about the food, as were on a date, but I think it could be a lot better. It wasn’t inedible, but in a city of great restaurants, we don’t feel like we want to return to this one. Sorry.

The server was new but very attentive. Only downside was we were a bit pushed in the corner table. I think this place will be packed once the area is finished.

Was very quiet possibly down to the area the restaurant is located in. The staff were extremely attentive. The chef even came out to say hello. Will definitely be back
