Our renowned Victorian tradition of “Afternoon Tea” under the historic banyan tree invites guests to indulge in a variety of tropical tea blends accompanied by a selection of delicious finger sandwiches, scones and delicate pastries.

Please Note we are a cashless restaurant. We only accept credit cards or room charges as form of payment. A 20% gratuity will be added to all parties of 6 or more and for parties of 5 or more that request split checks.
We kindly ask to refrain from balloon decorations to ensure the views for others are respected. Guests are welcome to bring their own cake/dessert for an additional fee of $7 per person.

I had high expectation as it was being compared to the high tea at the Orchids! Unfortunately, it did not meet the hype. Shout out to Daniel M for a superb customer service! Food quality is mediocre. Tea choices were limited and finger sandwiches were dry. Desserts were ok at best. I enjoyed the onion rings and fries the most from their The Duke tea service. Their burger, although moist, needed seasoning on the patty. It was also busy and noisy at the time of tea service (2:15). Being out in the Veranda was quite enjoyable and the weather was breezy and pleasant. I wanted to love the experience but for the price we paid, it was not worth it!

Super tasty food!! My party all got the Moana Classic and it was very filling. A little on the pricier side, but everything tasted great and the service was fantastic. Overall, a great experience.

My grown daughters and I started a new tradition of having tea at Moana Surfrider every Christmas season. The food, service and ambiance is fantastic and it’s such a nice way to reconnect during the busy season with just us girls!

Afternoon tea at the Moana is a memorable experience. We have been dining here for over a decade. It's the highlight of our trip. Aki, is our favorite server there. She goes above and beyond to make your afternoon tea special. The ambiance can't be beat. The banyan tree is a lovely canopy and the sparkling blue water of the ocean is lovely to gaze at. If you enjoy people watching this is the place for you. If you enjoy classical architecture you won't be disappointed. The assortment of tasty finger foods is wonderful. My favorite tea is the creamy coconut. It's like eating a piece of fresh coconut. Perfect place to relax, enjoy the company of others and have delicious treats to savour.

A must-do if you can! The menu and teas were perfect for our triple-birthday Sunday Tea! Daniel was the best server and very knowledgeable, attentive and generous! Highly recommend if you’re coming to Waikiki!!

If you’re hungry get the Burger and a side of lobster chowder I think the higher price option $137.00 are overrated best just to order the burger and and side of the lobster chowder. Best chowder I’ve ever had, better than New England, ny, sf, Seattle…. Or anywhere else. Burger is up there. Taken the wife here because she’s really into this tea time thing. She’s not impressed, she mentioned why only 1 tea choice? Should be able to try all 4, maybe serve smaller portions. Parking? I messed up and ended up paying 22.50. Supposedly there’s a parking area that can be validated but I didn’t see it. The nearest bathroom was temporary close the whole time we were there. The whole staff are so awesome.

We try to always bring our family for High Tea wherever available as it seems like a fading tradition. The Veranda is a beautiful setting amongst a bustling Waikiki Beach where you can feel relaxed and enjoy the company of your family. The service is very good while the sandwiches, scones and pastries are delicious. It’s definitely a splurge but it’s always good to treat yourself to something nice.

Wonderful tea experience! We were sat right by the ocean and had a great view. Our server, Carlo, was excellent and took very good care of us.
