                                                                We were looking for a romantic spot to celebrate our anniversary, and Verona was perfect! We had a nice table upstairs, although the downstairs room looked equally nice. And the food! My husband had the gnocchi- he said it was the best he’s ever had! The lobster ravioli was amazing, especially the sauce. We will definitely return.

                                                                Need to eat here again for a proper review. Ambiance is nice, staff were nice. Food was decent and priced fair. We were sat at a table right after the previous guests left; Didn’t receive napkins. We weren’t offered anything to drink other than water or wine (thought was odd but maybe thats all the offer); we received water initially, and then the server/bus boy didnt come back to offer/top off water until we asked when the main course arrived. It was very busy, and deserves another shot before really making an assessment. If I had to rate it just based off yesterday, i’d say 6.5-7/10. Amicii and Il villagio are better IMO.

                                                                We were a party of four. With a reservation. Two in our party arrived a half hour early and we’re seated promptly and able to stay out of the cold and sip on their wine while they waited for the other two. The staff was courteous, friendly our food came out in a timely manner, and everything was very good.

                                                                Octopus appetizer was delicious. Fried tomatoes appetizer was very good, but sauce was rich. The chicken Marsala sauce was also rich. If you prefer thinner sauces or gravies, ask for specifics. Chocolate cake dessert was wonderful. Don’t fill upon the bread, which was not special.

                                                                Food was outstanding, as usual. Very busy but service was good. A little chilly sitting next to the front door but that is to be expected with people coming in and going out. Verona never disappoints! One of our go to restaurants in Haddonfield.
