                                                                                                    It was very busy as you would expect on Valentine’s Day, but you had a gentleman that was wearing glasses and had long hair that was absolutely amazing. He deserves a raise!!

                                                                                                    I ate here with a friend on Valentine's Day and the staff did a great job of moving things quickly despite how busy it was. Very casual for an Italian restaurant, but perfect for the occasion!

                                                                                                    Food was really good. Service was a bit slow but it was a busy night. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks and over an hour for our entrees.

                                                                                                    We come to Viale regularly and this is the first time we were disappointed. We stood in the front area for quite a while before being greeted. Our table wasn’t clean yet which was fine but took a while before someone cleared it and sat us. Then we didn’t see our server and when she finally approached our table she wasn’t particularly welcoming or friendly. The food was good as always but service was absolutely subpar. Once we placed our initial order our server was nowhere to be found so we had to flag someone else down to order our salad. When we finished we asked for a box and instead were brought aluminum foil. We won’t be back any time soon as the experience was well below our expectations of this typically good neighborhood spot.

                                                                                                    Always a good meal at Viale. Pizza is outstanding and other Italian dishes are good, too. Chicken Parmigiana is a favorite. Service is always exceptional, as well. Last night we finished our dinner with tiramisu, which was wonderful. Enough for four, so we’ll finish it tonight. Prices are also quite reasonable considering the portions. Highly recommended.
