Our waitress was very inattentive and forgot items we ordered, she seemed under the influence of something…my boyfriend liked what he ordered. I ordered the golden corn salad and it was not good. It took a long time for drinks. This was my first experience dining here, not sure I’ll be back.

I don’t normally leave reviews but, this place has so much potential, I hope a manager reads this and takes the advice to heart. The food is really phenomenal, exceptional even, but the ambiance and service leave much to be desired. Here are 3 very easy fixes to elevate this restaurant and take it to the next level: -First of all, list your restaurant and speak easy separately on Open Table. There was some confusion regarding my reservation, and I had unknowingly booked a table at Busy Signal instead of Victory East because they are listed as one place on OT. This was not clear at all in the booking. That’s an easy fix. -Secondly, the Bar—from the quality of the cocktails to the overall look and feel of the bar (super bright lights, shabby sports bar feel), it left much to be desired and took away from the intimate vibe of the restaurant. This could easily be fixed by using quality liquor (drinks were watered down, which made me wonder if they water down their bottles, as many bars do), hiring a better mixologist, and redesigning the bar itself. I would also hire more than one bartender on the weekends (drinks took entirely too long to come out). Lastly, the service. Keep the vibe of the speakeasy (scantily clad waitresses, etc.) out of the restaurant. It doesn’t work. Our server was great, but she was spread thin. I saw a lot of parties abruptly leave and I wonder if they were turned off by the slow service. Hope this is helpful!

Great experience. My reservation was with Busy Signal and it’s one of those places to enjoy a good drink and a creative drink. Have fun and enjoy yourself. ps - it transitioned into a comedy club pretty early. I did not enjoy the transition but I was on my way out around the same time.

The entire experience was disappointing and I definitely had high expectations. No hostess when you walk in, waitress had no knowledge of the drink menu, food was mid, wait for drinks was never ending because they didn’t come until AFTER our meal so we canceled them. After canceling our drinks the experience went even further downhill, literally never seeing the waitress again so we approached the bartender for boxes and the check and he replied what up! & said he would let our waitress know. She still never came so the bartender came with the checks that were wrong, we paid and left. Also, everyone going & coming to & from the downstairs bar walk through the restaurant. Will NOT be back and unfortunately will not recommend Victory East.

Great food, great service. I'll definitely be going back for the shrimp and grits. Victory East is a hidden Gem. Check it out. You won't regret it.

No need for reservation. Food was bland and overly priced. Bathroom needed attention at 1pm with no customers.

Victory East was great! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. Head over the speakeasy (Busy Signal) down the hall when you’re done eating. Great music and vibes.

I had a confirmed reservation, paid $66 for an Uber there, and they were closed! So frustrating!! Someone was there, and did open the door, but gave no explanation, and no apology. He just said they’re closed and didn’t care at all that we had a reservation. Won’t be going back there ever again!

We really had a good time!!! The food was great and the lounge experience was amazing. Good drinks, good vibes, great customer service.
