Vida is truly a gem in Indianapolis - it never disappoints!! I would put Vida in my top 10 restaurants internationally! The tasting menu was fantastic and Chef added a Pekin Duck course from the regular menu at our request. Service was attentive and friendly - not hovering. Shout out to Bill, the team that ran our food, and the Sommelier who provided good direction for our wine selection.

Vida is our go-to for all celebrations or anytime we want an excellent meal. This was our time trying the tasting menu and it was perfect. Every bite is so flavorful. It’s an expensive meal but worth every bite. The dining rooms are cozy perfection for winter.

Excellent experience all around. Very expensive meal for 4 people but we knew that before going. Both the tasting menu and vegetarian tasting menus were fantastic as were the wine pairings.

The menu & wine pairings were incredible. Our late reservation slot allowed us to ring in the New Year at our table. This was a truly memorable experience my group & I won’t forget.

We’ve dined at Vida several times in the past and always enjoyed the food and service immensely but this time it missed the mark. Our server was not friendly, unwilling to guide us through the menu options and overall just seemed annoyed and impatient with us the entire time. The food and drinks were good but not amazing as they usually are. The octopus appetizer was cooked perfectly and very delicious. The roasted carrots were overly seasoned. The baby green salad was fine but average. The ribeye entree was cooked and seasoned perfectly; would definitely order this again. The scallops were so salty and filled with grit we could not eat them and left most untouched on the plate (and I am very generous with salt in my own kitchen). I would have sent them back and ordered something else but our server never came to the table to ask about our food. The ricotta doughnuts were great as usual but the Panna cotta was completely tasteless without the jam and peanut butter whipped cream; we would not order again. I ordered the 4 course meal with wine pairings and although each wine was very good and expertly paired, they were extremely light pours. We would order a bottle with dinner next time if we return but we may be searching for a new favorite restaurant after this experience at Vida.
