Featuring a comprehensive selection of more than 200 whiskeys alongside what has been called the country’s best burger, Village Whiskey is an instant classic. Envisioned by Chef Garces as a spot where he and his team could enjoy a drink and a snack after a long night in the kitchen, the restaurant’s focal point is the central bar that is home to their near-encyclopedic catalogue of Chef Garces’ favorite spirit, whiskey. We celebrated our anniversary and they were so welcoming and generous. We went on a Thursday evening at 5:30pm in time for the last 30 minutes of happy hour. It was warm and inviting and the drinks and food were wonderful.

A lovely evening dinner. Service was prompt but not intrusive. Steak frites was very good. Steak is only 6 oz but with a couple apps it’s plenty.

We decided to try two different entrees. Chef had to substitute ingredients on both. The taste overwhelmingly compromised. Stick with the burgers.

Food and service were great, we had brunch. Just wish I was able to get some hot tea or jam for my toast! They did improvise for me though with the jam, appreciate that!

Food was delicious, we loved the burger of the moment. Drinks were great too! Only complaint is that there were obnoxious kids next to us, so I think there should be a age limit. They were okay fighting and hitting our table the entire time

Food and cocktails were very good and it’s great that they even have a happy hour menu on the weekend, however service was pretty slow. The dining room ambiance is a lot brighter than it looks in photos but the space is cool!
