Dante and his team are the new-kids on Moody Street, Waltham but old pros in the Boston area. Dante has been cooking in his home town of Abruzzo since 1979. His passion for cooking grew as explored the all the flavors and recipes of the Adriatic Sea which surrounded him. We are excited to bring our skills to Waltham where we welcome old friends and invite new ones to Vinotta Restaurant.

Vinotta Restaurant serves simple food made with fresh, wholesome, organic ingredients using locally sourced vendors. Flowing between classic and modern Italian favorites all made from scratch and sure to suit your palate. Domestic and imported wine selections to compliment food choices available for in-house and take out dining.

    We are a regular of this restaurant as we live just couple minutes away. The food is outstanding, the ingredients fresh, the daily specials amazing, the wine list superb. I am short in adjectives to describe the food. The service is the friendliest. The owner Dante is there daily, going from table to table, checking on the patrons. Great food, great wines and great service.

    We went there for Valentines Day. The food and overall experience was great. The only complaint that I have was the lack of service. They weren’t very responsive and not professional enough. Other than that the place is very nice. Definitely recommend to check it out.

    I have NEVER been disappointed. And we have visited many times. This is my North End go-to. And the reason I very rarely go to the North End any more.

     this is a very comfortable restaurant and it has excellent food. My husband and I went for an early Valentines dinner. We like to avoid the crowds on the 14th. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We made a reservation and were seated promptly . We shared the eggplant appetizer. I had the paparadelle with porcini and truffle mushrooms. My husband had the house special with scallops and shrimp with pasta and vodka sauce. Everything we ordered was outstanding.

    The staff was great, very helpful and fast. The place looked really nice (even though different from pictures). All of the food (expect for the Chicken Marsala) was amazing. The chicken was a little chewy and bland, but overall everything else was amazing.

    I come here frequently! It is a great spot with very good food. Their menu is generally reliable and satisfying. It is the perfect spot for a date or girls night and the ambiance is tasteful and inviting. It's always a treat to go! The veal dishes and mushroom pappardelle are my favorites!
