At our restaurant we celebrate the deep connection between Houston and the Gulf Coast. Our chefs are inspired by all that the Gulf Coast and the adjacent lands have to offer; fusing a multitude of cultural and geographical influences in to a culinary feast. By applying contemporary yet time-honored techniques, we ensure the food is always on trend. The menu is understated in its simplicity and provides even the most discerning diner with a plethora of choices. In Houston for quilt convention. service was slow for an all you can eat buffet. Tried to get a coffee at start of meal - got it at end of meal. To be fair she had ALOT of tables to take care of which is why I only dinged it a little.

Loved our brunch at Walker Street. The food was delicious and so many different selections and the wait staff and the beautiful friendly hostess made for a beautiful morning for my daughters birthday.

Forgot our servers name, but she was AMAZING! Food was standard Marriott Hotel buffet food. Definitely not worth the price. We were expecting nicer considering the hotel is upscale.

Went for breakfast and overall food was good. To note though I made a reservation through OpenTable, confirmed the reservation the day before and was in the system when I arrived but was told by the hostess they do not take reservations. The place was empty so they were able to seat my party but I would suggest calling to ensure your reservation is in fact being taken.

The hostess and our wait staff were very friendly, attentive, and responsive. We always eat here when we stay at the Marquis!
