At Waters Restaurant – Sundance Square, we source the freshest wild, seasonal, and sustainable seafood available. Our style brings together flavors of the southwest, with hints of Louisiana, but our featured ingredients themselves typically speak the loudest. Our Signature Gumbo hastens back to some Creole roots when Jon Bonnell cooked in the French Quarter of New Orleans, while our beef gets the royal treatment Chef Felli has made famous for much of his career. Diver scallops from Maine get a slight TexMex makeover after being perfectly golden-crust-seared, while jumbo lump crabcakes celebrate beautifully fresh crab as their essence, never loaded with fillers just to save a buck. We will never utilize third-world fish farms, cheap seafood substitutes, artificial flavorings, or exploit threatened species at Waters. We strive for only the best experience for our guests, while at the same time being good stewards of our environment and our future.

Excellent service at Waters tonight! We came after the FWSO concert at Bass Hall at 4:15pm. It was our first visit. The Seabass was cooked just right and served with asparagus. The grilled shrimp and dirty rice were overcooked and served on the dry side. The glass of wine from Sonoma, California was high priced but divine to the palate.

Everything we ate was absolutely delicious - oysters, Branzino, lobster mac and cheese. Our waiter was perfectly attentive. We will definitely return, starting with their amazing happy hour!

We enjoyed our dinner at Waters this evening Two of us have not been there since they first opened, and the other two had not been there ever. The business was good there (lots of people) and the food was really perfect. They also enjoyed the espresso martinis. They were excellent!

Samantha was great! We ate in the bar. Great place for Happy hour or a high end night out. Valet service right out the door. Oysters were the freshest we’ve had in Fort Worth. Trust me, we’ve tried them everywhere Ft. Worth. The 8 oz filet competes with anyone downtown. The sides are wonderful. Water’s is great for steaks and the freshest seafood. This is a staple for us.

My wife and I enjoyed a New Year’s Eve dinner. The food and drinks were outstanding! As always I highly recommend Waters.

Food was great, server was ok. Service was a little slow and server wasn’t as attentive as what we are accustomed to at this level of dining. Everything we ordered was very good. My husband said the filet was excellent and unexpected since this place is know for seafood. Everyone had a great time! Happy new year!

Overall - very good. Who can goof up on raw oysters? Then a Caesar salad that was excellent, made with an oyster dressing. The entrees - scallops in a southwestern dressing and halibut. Both were well- executed. The only “just ok” was the brownie with ice cream. Just ok, nothing special. Our waiter (Caleb) was attentive. For NY Eve, it was not jam-packed or noisy. All in all, a great evening.

Really wanted to love this place but for a high end restaurant it fell short on a couple of things. Started with the fried oysters which were delicious. Our entrees included the Cajun Sea Scallops which were cooked perfectly and so tender and the Fish and chips with Redfish. Batter was thin and crispy and very good. French Fries not cooked long enough. Service was Mediocre. We were there on Sunday around 5:00 so it wasn’t very busy. Had to flag our waiter down for a refill on water and another glass of wine. Had the Creme Brûlée for dessert. Very disappointing. Skimpy portion with way too much sugar on top. Think we’ll try it for lunch next time and try the bar menu. It looks interesting.

Fantastic meal. Jacob was our server. We had the dozen oyster flight, gumbo, scallops and redfish & chips. Dirty rice side was excellent. We finished it off with Nanny’s lemon icebox cake. We will be back! Fantastic.
