Winery Tour

Duration: 30 min; Free; Usually when someone asks what type of wine you want, you think, "Red or White"? But do you ever think "Blue"? That's right, you can make wine from blueberries! Come on down to Whispering Oaks for a free tour! You'll get a chance to see a totally different style of winery, getting a behind the scene look at an interesting variation on your standard grape vineyard. Whispering Oaks Winery's blueberries are grown on their own farm, with expert attention to soil, water, PH, light and temperature. They nurture their blueberries so that the berries are unrivaled and produce the best wines in Florida! Next time you ask your guests what type of wine they want, you can be a little more patriotic -- red, white or BLUE!

              What a wonderful place to try local blueberry wine and some excellent food. Whispering Oaks is a quaint place with a friendly atmosphere and staff. The indoor dining room is cheery and the wall murals are amazing. The outdoor patio is great with and outdoor kitchen and Koi pond. On the night we went they had fantastic live dinner music. The food is delicious and cooked to perfection. We had the filet medallions and salmon which was excellent. The roasted red pepper and gouda soup was outstanding. The menu is small, but there is something for everyone. We will definitely go back.

              We have been here before for steak night and it was fabulous. This time not so great. Steak wasn’t as flavorful as before and tasted smoked instead of grilled and green beans were still very hard and undercooked. Lobster bisque was awesome ! We will still be back as we love the place. Just not one of the better dinners. We went for a birthday celebration. Family that got the ribeye like us had the same experience, however my daughters that got the filet said it was excellent. Still had a great time and would recommend trying it if you hadn’t been before.

              The Service was outstanding. Food was good. Place came highly recommended but we were disappointed that the band was sick and we didn’t eat outside

              Food presented well, tasted really good, strings beans could have been more cooked. Overall great atmosphere, great waitress ,great food and pleasant entertainment Do love the outside experience also.

              The website says: for Friday or Saturday night Steak Night: WHAT’S INCLUDED? Your Choice of Ribeye, Dual Beef Filet Medallions, Surf & Turf, Chicken or Fresh Fish Plated Salad or Soup Baked Potato Fresh Vegetables Baked Beans Freshly Baked Bread All for ONLY $32 a Person! NOT TRUE!: When we got there, I asked when given the menu and the Steak Night offer was not on the menu. We were told that the website was OLD and the special was no longer offered! The salad was about 1/3 of the size shown in the picture. There was no Rib Eye steak option, which was what we were actually going for. We were disappointed with the appearance and ambiance of the place. We were expecting a more "upscale" restaurant, especially when the email stated "BUSINESS CASUAL" attire. No return for us.

              The meal was wonderful & the server was great but the musician was way too loud for an indoor event. We could not have dinner conversation bc it was so loud. Next time will ask to be seated outside or away from the music.

              This past Saturday evening we had a fantastic time at Whispering Oaks Winery. The wine was delicious and our meal was delightful. It is such a fun funky place. We can't wait to go back. My husband and I can't wait for cooler weather so we can enjoy their outside dining and entertainment.

              It is always a pleasure to dine at Whispering Oaks! The food is excellent! I feel this year’s Sensationally Sweet is the best I have had in the past four years that I have been going there!
