I gave a surprise birthday celebration to my boyfriend at Wienstein & Gavino's and it was an amazing romantic dinner date with him, big thanks to their staffs. Food, service and overall experience with them was superb 👌. Can't thank them enough.

Pesto pizza wasn't great. Everything else was fine. Service started off great, then we had to wait fifteen to twenty minutes for desserts to go.

If you are looking for mediocre food, and dining experience, this is your place. I was very disappointed in the whole experience. The noise level was unbearable, the atmosphere was a combination of being in a cave and a 6 yr olds birthday party. The waitress was would leave and not return. The food was dropped on the table and the server was off on a mad dash. The food was the quality of a fast restaurant. The restaurant entrance looks like a closed down store front. All I can stay on the positive side is that I was hungry when I arrived. I had food there. And left not hungry.

Last weekend, my teenage kids and I took a trip to Montreal and had the pleasure of dining at WG on Friday evening. We made a reservation just an hour in advance and were delighted to be seated at a lovely table that offered a great view of the restaurant's vibrant atmosphere. It was the first time for my kids at WG, and it was fascinating to hear their fresh perspectives on every aspect of the experience—the food, the service, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant. To my relief, they were thoroughly impressed with everything. One of the things I appreciated was that the menu has remained almost unchanged for the past 18 years. This allowed me to guide them on what to order, sharing some of my long-time favorites. The food was nothing short of amazing, just as I remembered it from years ago. Each dish was fresh and flavorful, brimming with Mediterranean and Italian influences that made every bite memorable. The variety of options on the menu was impressive and catered to a range of tastes. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant felt timeless, beautifully complementing the delicious food. The old Italian taverna style, warm tones, and inviting layout created an enjoyable dining environment. As for the service, it truly stood out during our visit. While I'm sure all the staff members are exemplary, our waiter, Brendan, was particularly exceptional. He was not only friendly and professional but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He provided insightful recommendations regarding the ingredients and portion sizes, and he consistently checked in on us at just the right moments without being intrusive. Overall, it was a delightful experience that left a lasting impression on us all, and I can't wait to return to WG in the future.

The staff was amazing, very attentive and polite. the only think is that we were a group of 8 and it was very tight, it would have been a table for 6 but they added extra chairs. The people sitting in back of other people were very uncomfortable as they could not move.
