Wigmore Hall Restaurant is located on the lower ground floor of one of the world’s great concert halls, specialises in chamber and instrumental music, early music and song. The 50 seater restaurant is also home to a well stocked theatre bar. The frequently changing menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with with our focus being seasonal, local and always fresh. Situated walking distance from Oxford Street and Bond Street Station, our team of friendly waiting staff eagerly await your arrival to make it a memorable evening.

We offer a 2 or 3 course option with a service to fit all needs from those attending a concert to those enjoying some time in the West End.

What a delightful surprise to discover the Wigmore! We were greeted warmly, the service was attentive, the menu was varied, yet manageable, the presentation of the food beautiful, and the tastes exquisite! A very special was to spend New Year's Eve!

The servers were friendly enough and helpful, but service can be slow if there is a packed concert above.

The food was really lovely and the vegan options very good. The restaurant manager was very apologetic about the slow service - we had booked for 6pm and were just OK to get to the concert at 7.30 upstairs. He had a whole new set of staff and they were clearly not trained up, so hope it improves because it's a lovely place to relax and eat.

the food was absolutely excellent and just right for a pre-concert meal. The wine was overpriced. The service was not great unfortunately. Very pleasant young women with little clue. I was asked to order despite the fact I was waiting for my husband. We were not informed about the possibility of returning to our table in the interval until it was too late to do so. We only just got our food in time, despite arriving promptly and not ordering a pudding or coffee.

The food, service, and general experience is always very good, and highly convenient for concert-goers. The fly in the ointment is the ridiculous, extreme difficulty or impossibility of changing a booking, on the Open Table website, for the time time and day, if you are unlucky enough to have to reduce the number in the party.

fish was delicious, also cheesecake and tomato soup chips were good too, but arrived a little late !

We're regulars at the Wigmore Hall and its restaurant is the ideal pace to start the evening, with the Hall just upstairs . It complements the Hall with a pleasant ambience, and good food well served and in sensible portions. Not cheap, but prices are reasonable by today's standards. Richard Wyber

The surroundings and the servers were all fine but the quality of the food left an awful lot to be desired and certainly wasn't worth the money we paid. It was very disappointing, particularly taking into account the status of the venue. Thankfully it didn't spoil the concert we had gone there to see which was absolutely fantastic.

Excellent service, and the food that I had was very good too. However, the range of gluten-free options was very limited, and this was very disappointing. For example, out of the 5 or 6 options for dessert, only one was GF, and that was the cheese and biscuits. It’s perfectly possible to produce excellent (sweet) desserts that also happen to be GF. Likewise, at least one of the main courses wasn’t GF simply because it had been thickened with wheat flour. Again, it’s very straightforward to thicken sauces, stews etc using GF flour, and to produce a GF dish that is every bit as good as the gluten-containing one I would strongly encourage the chef to explore the very straightforward means of considerably extending the range of non-gluten containing dishes, which can be done at no or minimal extra cost.
