   Booked a day in advance on-line. There was quite a queue at reception when we arrived, which is fine, but the reason for its length was the chatiness of the guy at the desk, and his difficulty in finding bookings on the system. Then there was a vague wave in the direction of the tabkle which hadn't had a name placard placed on it, so we sat on an empty one. Lots of bar staff seemingly buzzing around but only one actuyally serving. Waited ages in another queue to order. 20 minutes later were informed they'd run out of rice and suggested the 'Indian' orders could come with mashed pitato instead. (It wasn't late in the evening, and it wasn't packed, so running out of rice was a bit of a major oversight.) Having said that, the staff were apologetic. But a couple of the other meals looked and also tasted pretty average. The place had been much better a few weeks earlier, so. maybe it was just a bad night all 'round. But I won't be racing back.

   The club was going off in Saturday night. It was absolutely packed but the staff handled everything so well - there were queues to order but smiles all round. Food was great. Well done to the team

   We attended Thursday before good Friday so the club was very busy. Had to queue for a fair time to order but the staff were so friendly and courteous and very hard working. Our meal.was served within 5 or 10 mins of ordering and was amazing. The steak was delicious and well worth the wait thank you.

   Meals are much better this week. Bar service still needs a lot of improvement

   Expensive but good outlook and good atmosphere. Easy parking and access

   Nice wholesome bowls club food, with healthy options available. Kids meal best in town. Trivia was lots of fun for the family. Desserts were surprisingly good too!
