Our South City residence, our founding Japanese restaurant that opened in 1995, remains the flagship location of the Yamamori Group. Boasting an array of delights, including tempura, sushi, homemade dumplings, ramen, and katsu curry, all prepared fresh daily, it has secured its place as a pioneer of Japanese cuisine in Dublin. Beyond its culinary offerings, Yamamori South has etched a lively history into the city’s landscape, complete with a friendly and dedicated staff, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all. Chicken Kara age has changed, it was much nicer before which is a shame, it was too thick of a coating which was soggy at the chicken and the chicken wasn’t as good quality, Ebi Dragon roll was lovely as always!

Previously we were making with chicken breast but the chef decided to change to chicken thigh to follow more the traditional aspect of it. We will pass your feedback to the headchef. Really enjoyed this lunch. I had the ramen and a nigiri to go with it. Both really tasty. Service was very friendly and efficient.

We had a group of 12 for my 30th Birthday on Saturday. Everything was exceptional and none of us could fault a thing. The food was delicious and the cocktails were also excellent. A special mention also for our fantastic server on the night (sorry I don’t remember his name!) who was so helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and made sure that everyone at the table had everything they needed/wanted at all times!

Staff weren't the friendliest, food was fine but we definitely felt rushed and the 12.5% tip added on at the end for a party of 3 people left a bitter taste....
