Yann Couvreur, the world-renowned French Pastry Chef, has now opened his first daytime café in Wynwood. The menu showcases the finest seasonal and local ingredients without any added artificial flavors or preservatives. You can experience dishes such as the iconic “Tartine Saumon” featuring Appalachian Smoked Salmon, lemon cream cheese, and microgreens placed atop toasted multigrain sourdough; the “Tuna Melt” made with toasted brioche, cheddar cheese, and Yann Couvreur Café’s housemade tuna mix; baked goods such as the “Baguette et Beurre” and the caramelized “French Toast”; and the table-side Niçoise salad experience. The food was passable, but the service was lacking. The portions were quite small, and there wasn’t anything particularly special about the dishes.

                                                                                                The ambiance is beautiful! Well put together and very cute. We order the so “famous hot chocolate and it came cold ! We also order eggs Benedict , expecting to receive a warm two pieces of bread with two eggs and the sauce, it came one small piece of brioche with two small eggs on the same piece of bread, not hot. We ask for water that never came to the table, also an extra brioche that never came to the table. We were 4 people and each order 1 plate and 1 drink, the bill came to $160.00 , which was not an issue if the food was warm and enough ! NOT worth it the $$$$. Many other delicious breakfast places with warm food and good service.

                                                                                                The esthetics of Yann Couvreur are exquisite: The food and environment are beautiful. That said, we were disappointed with the apathy of our server and the substance of my meal. I would return for coffee and a pastry, which would be more predictably enjoyable.

                                                                                                Delicious, well-selected food, drinks and superb pastries, although we didn't indulge. Service was pleasant. A bit chaotic inside with lots of people standing around waiting for takeout orders to be ready. But a very Miami scene at the edge of Wynwood and fun.
