Yann Couvreur, the world-renowned French Pastry Chef, has now opened his first daytime café in Wynwood. The menu showcases the finest seasonal and local ingredients without any added artificial flavors or preservatives. You can experience dishes such as the iconic “Tartine Saumon” featuring Appalachian Smoked Salmon, lemon cream cheese, and microgreens placed atop toasted multigrain sourdough; the “Tuna Melt” made with toasted brioche, cheddar cheese, and Yann Couvreur Café’s housemade tuna mix; baked goods such as the “Baguette et Beurre” and the caramelized “French Toast”; and the table-side Niçoise salad experience.                                                                                                 They automatically charge 20% gratuity on the bill and when I paid with credit card, they enter the total on their credit card machine then asked me how much tip do I want to add. Without seeing the invoice in full, I added another 20%. What a rip off. The food was decent and the coffee was terrible, basically filled up the cup with water.
