Nestled near Regent’s Park in North West London, Gordon Ramsay’s York & Albany restaurant is a former 1820s coaching inn that's been transformed into a well-appointed townhouse restaurant, bar, hotel and terrace.

The Georgian townhouse, built by historic British architect John Nash, has been re-decorated by Russell Sage. From awesome arches and gilded mirrors through to vaulted ceilings and restored furniture, there are many areas within the venue to suit your needs with two private dining rooms and a hidden courtyard, in addition to the restaurant and large open bar.

Menus focus on modern British food and guests can dine all day, from breakfast through to dinner.

To begin with I wasn’t overly impressed, although the place was lovely the food was luke warm and waiting staff a little snooty but as the meal went on the staff become friendly and attentive and let us stay at our table without pestering us for far longer than was polite for us to stay.

Very slow service. 40 mins to get a bread basket. A drink forgotten. Food good overall. But for 5 of us it cost £320 for lunch (and one had the free child’s meal). Nice atmosphere and good quality food but overall too expensive for lunch.

It was terrible. Very very slow. kids food came an hour after ordering. Then when our roasts came - they clearly used steak and sliced it up to look like a roast. We love this place usually but are severely disappointed by our service and the food.

The atmosphere was quite nice, the food was moderate, the salad was good, the main courses had no particular special taste and the service was adequate. Overall too much money for not such a pleasant or unique experience.

Thank you so much to all the staff, the service was exceptional and everyone was so accommodating as we had a pram and puppy. We had the most amazing Christmas and the food was excellent, thank you 🙏🏽

Definitely a good choice as the food was delicious, presented well and just the right amount. We wouldn't hesitate to return as it is hard to find genuinely good food, especially when you cook yourself! 😋
