Zinqué is a beloved neighborhood hotspot & all-day restaurant serving French-inspired dishes, small plates, craft cocktails & a uniquely curated wine selection. Inspired by the zinc countertop bars & cafés of Paris, many of its customers consider it a second home—a place to work, linger & socialize. Excited for this new location. They did a great job with the design. Food was delicious as were the lattes. They need to figure the service out. They work “as a team” but nobody checked on us regularly. I had to track our food server down outside to get our order placed. Staff were lovely but they need to figure out the flow of service. Food was amazing! I will definitely give it another shot. Bar looks amazing!

We had dinner at this new restaurant Saturday evening at 6pm for the first time. It was crowded and became more so with the noise level high. Our server, Shana, was excellent even though she was a busy lady. My wife had Coq au Vin which she reported to be excellent. I had the Steak Frites but substituted au gratin for the Frites, and it was really tasty. The Steak, a hangar steak, was cooked medium rare per my choice. It was another excellent meal, cooked in an extremely good sauce so I didn't even use the sauce which came with it. Shana recommended the chocolate mousse for dessert which was another wonderful choice. We had a great meal which we would each order again and will return.

Way too loud!! Food was decent. Not special but good. Service was very good. Not rushing back. Maybe a few more weeks of of operation will help them improve

They took us earlier than our reservation which was great so we could enjoy happy hour. That is where the positives end. As we walked to our seat we had to step over a giant poodle sorry dogs have no place in indoor dining at night. The food was good however it took over 45 minutes to get our first couple of appetizers and we had to follow up constantly to ask the status of our order. The second round of appetizers took over an hour again we had to ask several times where our food was. They kept blaming it on being a soft opening sorry if you aren’t prepared to serve customers don’t open. Won’t be going back to see if they solve there issues.

Went for NYE. Overall pleasant experience for a new restaurant on NYE. Food was good but the short ribs were a bit on the rich side. Not sure if it is normal preparation or if they were just over sauced on this particular plate. Apps were good, drinks good. Great patio, looks great for drinks on a nice day. I will say the bathroom had one faucet not working, a mess of paper towels all over the floor and the bar stools look really uncomfortable. We stayed for a long dinner because we were in a booth. If we had been seated on the stools it would’ve been a fast meal.

We thought we’d support a new neighborhood restaurant. From the time we sat down, until we were greeted by waitstaff, we realized the restaurant was not ready to open. The food was good however they are severely understaffed and undertrained. The manager, Johann, may have thought he was being charming, however our entire party found him condescending. We certainly won’t be returning soon and hope they can remedy these shortfalls before they end up going out of business.

We visited on the fourth day open. Seating more for large groups or communal sitting. Nice and varied menu. Large open room. Ordered curry with chickpeas, salmon and blistered green beans. Food was good but came warm not hot. One glass of wine. Service was hectic and seemed under staffed. Pricy .

Hello, we know that we visited only three days after opening, however we were somewhat taken aback by the attire of the waitstaff.....maybe uniforms or shirts were still en route? however it was hard to note which were waitstaff, and which were patrons??? we felt it was too casual. Also, I am not a huge wine connoisseur, however I do eat out quite often, and order wine, and I can't say that I recognize many or any of the wines....we also note that there are not many beers available, and not a full range of hard liquor, only some well known brands. Food was OK, we note that many were noted for Gluten allergies and vegetarian options, however as a person with a severe nut allergy, nothing noted whether it contains nuts, NOT EVEN the item with the Romesco sauce, which is not a common sauce known to many people, and may end up killing someone who does not know or ask about nuts!!! This needs to be changed. We wil definitely give it another try, we like the ambiance, and look forward to trying the outside bar, as well as breakfast and lunch.

I recently tried the new Westlake Village location, and while the staff was friendly and attentive, that’s unfortunately the only positive aspect of my experience. To start, the noise level was unbearable. The interior design lacks any sound-absorbing materials, making it impossible to have a conversation without shouting. The aesthetic resembles a manufacturing facility—stark, cold, and unwelcoming—with uncomfortable stools lacking back support and too many high-top tables. As for the food, it was underwhelming. I ordered the pasta Bolognese, but the sauce was watery, with little meat and almost no flavor. My wife ordered the salmon, which was riddled with bones. The seafood quality seemed subpar, raising questions about their sourcing. Another disappointment was the corkage fee—an outrageous $30. Local restaurants like Café Bizou set a much better example with their modest $2 corkage fee. Overall, the combination of poor design, mediocre food, and high fees makes it unlikely I’ll return. With so many more inviting, quieter, and higher-quality dining options in the area, I can’t justify giving this place another chance.
