    Made a 7:30pm reservation for Valentine’s Day. Made the reservation on Jan 26 for Feb 14. Got to RA at 7:25 and was told that reservations are 35-40 mins behind. Waited for 1.5 hours and was told that it would be another 30 mins. Apparently RA overbooked reservations that day which makes no sense. Needless to say, very poor experience, especially for a special occasion.

    We made a reservation two months in advance for a 7pm dinner time for Valentine’s Day. The table wasn’t available and we did our best to give them an opportunity to find one. We found a way to sit at the sushi bar, even though the seats were technically unavailable. We ate and the service was great. The notice that our actual table was ready, finally came at 9:22pm. They clearly overbooked on a night that people would appreciate a smooth night.

    I was well aware of a possible delay due to the day being Valentines Day. So we arrived early as the day before we were informed that if we were more than 10 mins late, they would cancel our reservation. We arrived early and checked in at the hostess station. It was a birthday celebration for my daughter and they were nice enough to allow us to bring a cake. They gladly accepted the cake and placed it in the fridge for us. Upon check-in, they informed us there could potentially be a 15-20 min delay because of the day. We appreciated the heads up and agreed to wait the additional time even though our reservation was for 6 pm. (We checked in at 545pm). The line for checked in proceeded to get longer and longer. We checked back in at 620pm, and we were told the table we were waiting on to leave were almost finished with their meal. We were patient. It's Valentines Day, of course. We checked back in again at 645pm, asking for a status update. The hostess stated that the one table we were waiting for had been there 3 hrs now. They just got served their last plates! Just crazy... so we asked if this was the only table that could accommodate us. They said it should be any minute. We go back outside and wait. At 710pm, I proceed back to the hostess stand. She states they just left, and they needed to clear the table. At 730pm, we finally got to our table. The hostess was very friendly and busy, of course. We order drinks, and she brings them out. We ordered promptly. 45 mins later, our appetize came out , and our sushi didn't arrive at the table till we had been sitting there 1.5 hrs. The food was slightly warm and just mediocre. The sushi rice was hard and just didn't taste fresh. The overall evening was just a mess for food that was just ok and underwhelming. Maybe it would be better on a less busy night. But this was our first experience at RA, don't know if we'll be back. We will probably stay with Oban, downtown Tucson. They are the best Sushi in town!

    They were in over their heads. Having made a reservation several weeks ahead of time, we arrived to RA a few minutes early for our 6 pm reservation. The restaurant was packed for this Friday, St. Valentine's Day evening, our anniversary. We were seated after a few minutes, the drinks arranged, and our orders taken. Then nothing, for an hour and a half. The staff was apologetic but nothing could overcome the obvious chaos in the kitchen. As all previous estimates from the kitchen had passed unfilled, we left and got takeout at KFC. It is clear that something had gone wrong. No evil intent, but something had gone wrong.

    I had high expectations for this place the ambience was phenomenal But the food was not so great. Ordered the filet mignon chicken and shrimp came out very bland. Unseasoned had to wait 15 minutes just to get some soy sauce and salt. I did some TikTok research on this place before eating there ordered some of the sushi they had on videos came out looking nothing like the presentation they had put on video. I paid closer to $$325 for food that was bland and unflavored could’ve went to a steakhouse for the price we paid

    The service was fine. However I’ve got to say out of all the sushi I’ve eaten in my life, That was hands down the most disappointing meal I’ve ever had. I’m not a picky person by any means, but what a let down.

    The menu has changed! Our favorite sushi dishes were taken off! Our miso soup was cold and very bland as well as the food. Very disappointed this time!

    For a sushi place, the options were limited. I had the ramen, which was really good. My gf had a couple of different rolls, and said they were just ok. Very overpriced. To pay the prices that were charged for "Krab" is a little crazy. It was super loud, which made it difficult to have a conversation. Our waitress was really good; she offered us free edamame as it was our first time in. She tried her best to be attentive, but it seemed like they were understaffed. Doubt we will be back.
