Begin with Duck & Andouille Gumbo over Louisiana popcorn rice, paired with Louis Jadot Gamay Beaujolais-Villages. Savor Blackened Redfish served tableside with seafood bouillabaisse and jumbo lump crabmeat, matched with Joseph Drouhin Macon-Bussieres Burgundy. We chose Ralph's as our wedding venue and decided to come back to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was friendly and kind. They made great suggestions and went above and beyond to make our special day even better.

Had booked our Xmas lunch at Ralph’s and had a really bad experience. Our table was at 1:30 and at 1:48 our waiter, Katie, asked if we’d like to order. We told her no, we wanted to take our time and drink our cocktails a bit first and then would look. She told us the kitchen closed in 12 minutes and we needed to put our whole order in. We expressed our concern that this was our Christmas lunch and we didn’t want to be so rushed, she assured us we wouldn’t be, and then proceeded to rush us unbelievably. So we put our orders in immediately and from there it felt more like an eating competition than a nice lunch. Our apps arrived in minutes and as they picked them up, they set our next course down and then hovered and set our main down as they picked that up. They then immediately hounded us about dessert, brought it out within about 3 minutes of us ordering it and then brought the check and were clearly ready for us to pay and leave. My mom’s redfish, the duck crepe, and the pumpkin cheesecake all left much to be desired, and just weren’t of the quality we’ve known Ralph’s for in the past. Needless to say, we won’t be booking our holiday lunch (or probably anything) at Ralph’s again soon. A couple of tips: 1) don’t take a 1:30 reservation if you are going to have to rush people that much when they sit at that time and 2) if a waitress comes to take someone’s food and they’ve taken one bite, it’s a best practice to ask if maybe they didn’t like it, was there an issue, etc.

Wonderful dinner at Ralph’s on the park. During Christmas, the beautiful restaurant overlooks City Park Majestic lighting display. I highly suggest getting there early and spending time at the bar before going to your table. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Can’t wait to go back.

Love the bells! Nice restaurant overlooking the scenic, city park. Went for lunch on a Thursday and was underwhelmed by the menu selections which mainly consisted of sandwiches. The service was good. The Skully Shrimp appetizer was very tasty. Next was a City Park Salad with fresh ingredients that could have been delicious but the dressing lacked flavor. My final selection was a blackened shrimp BLT. The tiny shrimp lacked any evidence of blackened seasonings and the bread was very dry and the overwhelming flavor. A small potato salad accompanied this entry and was the tastiest part. Overall, a disappointing visit. Past experiences with brunch and dinner have been very good. I would not return for lunch, rather I'll stick with their dinners.
