Restaurant Martin is the embodiment of a of a 20-year dream to create the perfect balance of refined and comfortable. Chef Martin Rios, and his wife, Jennifer, envisioned a certain ambiance where people from the community as well as Santa Fe’s many visitors could enjoy Chef Rios’ award-winning progressive American cuisine. This family-owned restaurant caters not only to tourists, but to a large and loyal local clientele. Chef Rios has been repeatedly honored for his innovative and pleasing combinations of flavors, colors and presentation. His unique style emphasizes fresh, local produce and organic meats and poultry, and reflects not only Southwestern and Asian influences but also his classic training in French technique. His list of accolades include the following: Finalist in 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2022 for the James Beard “Best Chef of the Southwest” Award Semi-finalist for the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 James Beard “Best Chef of the Southwest” Award.

    NYE is always a crapshoot. The servers were great the restaurant was very full - for the amount of money we spent it did not feel like an incredible value. Thanks for the considerable effort.

    My son and I enjoyed our four-course meal. Everything tasted delicious! Our server, Zoe, was pleasant and knowledgeable! Happy 2025!

    A very wonderful New Years Eve prix-fixe dinner!! Service was top-notch and menu selection varied and delicious. From beginning to end, our evening was comfortable and enjoyable in all respects!! The dining rooms are comfortable with ample seating and subdued noise level.

    I have enjoyed dinner here on many occasions. I would say the lack of satisfaction on this visit, was due to the "prix fixe" dining. The meal did not meet our expectations at a price point roughly 3x the norm.

    Setting was relaxed and comfortable with good ambience. Although you could hear good conversations it was not loud due to the way seating was. The restaurant seemed to be setup to cater to fewer customers so although the size was not big and open it was cozy and comfortable with the food being cooked just for you.

    This restaurant never fails to be one of the best in Santa Fe. Always a favorite. Always consistent. Always creatively presented. Food, service, presentation is amazing! Best value for a artistic meal!
