At Restaurant Story the premise is simple; we seek to tell our story through the food we serve.

We opened in April 2013 gaining our first Michelin star only five months after opening and in 2021 we were awarded our second Michelin star. Finally in 2023 we launched Story 3.0 hosting a 2nd floor.

Inspired by chef Tom Sellers’ culinary career and the history of British food, our dishes are an edible story, each one inspired by a memory. We want to share these memories with you through what you see, smell and taste.

To help achieve this, we select only the freshest seasonal British produce and then pair it with an exclusive wine list featuring small wine producers and select British craft ales sourced locally.

Incredible experience and the only thing better than the food was the service from every single member staff we met. Definitely will be back and would recommend highly to anyone looking for a fantastic time .

An incredible dining experience . First class food and service. Loved how the dishes all told a story. A special thanks to Francis and Thomáš whose knowledge and attentiveness both shone. A faultless experience. We look forward to visiting again one day.

Smell of toilet at entrance. 3.5 hours before main course arrived. Overpriced and poorly paced. We were exhausted by the end.

Thank you for such an incredible dining experience! So many amazing unique and delicious courses. What a memorable meal to celebrate the University Graduations of our daughter and son. We also greatly appreciated all of the special effort to accommodate some of the dietary requests. Can’t wait for another “Story”. Thank you!

Had a fantastic dining experience yesterday to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. The service was truly amazing. It strikes a nice balance between being professional and yet friendly. We all agreed it was our favourite tasting experience, nothing on the menu we didn’t all love. Such nice touches with the snacks and treats. Carolina the sommelier chose perfect wines for us. Would highly recommend.

An outstanding dining experience. Fantastic service. For those who are open-minded about what they eat, this is a joy and the surprise of each course adds to the experience. I shan’t describe individual dishes, for fear of spoiling it for others. Wine pairings were great and sensibly priced and portioned. The wine list offers plenty of choice for those who wish to choose for themself. A memorable evening.
