Roaring Fork is an American Western Bistro. We utilize a combination of ingredients indigenous to the American West and locally grown, including produce, to capture the 'spirit' of the west. The restaurant offers a comfortable, laid back environment that includes friendly professional service and the highest quality food. A great deal of attention is paid in creating the recipes and always using ingredients that are found in the American West. Western cuisine is not a ceremony; it's a celebration! The robust flavors and the courage to try something different is what we are all about. We would like to invite everyone to experience our 'spirit' while enjoying our food and hospitality.

                                                                    Ambiance was very nice! Hosts were absent but came after walking into bar area looking around. Unknown seating host seemed to be bothered especially when asked if we could sit in a booth. Luckily a waiter intervened and said of course! I had requested a romantic leaning table and not between 2 families with children Our waitress kalien was friendly (opposite of the seating hostess) and knowledgeable Food timing wasn’t the greatest. The appetizer (delicious lamb chops) came out together with our ok wedge salad. We had the pork chops that was good and duck breast (not bad but vegetable combo didn’t work for me)The generous Manhattan was very good. I would go back and try again but order different entrees.

                                                                    Ordered 2 steaks came out cold twice and the sides truffle fries and mashed potatoes were cold again 2 times. The appetizer was guacamole and chips were ok. The server was busy but other tables were attended at a greater level than ours. Hate given poor reviews but hate getting poor meals.The meals were comped but that wasn’t the goal. Probably just a bad night.

                                                                    The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. Austin, our server, was very attentive and made sure our visit was a great experience. Will definitely visit again!!!

                                                                    We love the Roaring Fork however their Happy Hour seating is horrible. The bar was packed…over packed. The outside patio was windy and too chilly. The inside patio was full…. The dining room was busy later but not full. They need to figure out how to seat more people during the busy time of Happy Hour. It will be a while before we go back. Food and service is always great! Bartender could have been nicer to the 4 of us old people instead of focusing on the younger crowd.

                                                                    Exceptional food. The corn bread skillet is awesome. The tortilla soup and it’s presentation was great. The salmon cooked on a plank was possibly the best salmon I’ve ever had, and a great price at $27. The flatbread chicken is very tasty and huge!

                                                                    We thoroughly enjoyed our evening of dining & convo at Roaring Fork. Our waitress was funny and solicitous. The quality of the meals has never let us down. (Excellent!) Our only complaint, on what was a wonderful evening, was the timing of the food. My husband & I were in the midst of eating our appetizer when our mains arrived..... our dinner companions had salad as their app so they could keep the plate with the meal.

                                                                    We decided to return to this restaurant after several years. The feel is definitely a bit old-school, traditional. Happy Hour is in the front and "self-serve" to seating, which means people are hoarding tables and refusing to leave, which is unfortunate. Food is decent and not overpriced, but they need to do a better job at looking at their own menus. The cocktail menu handed to us had one set of prices, but the food menu had a different set (margaritas were 10 on cocktail menu, 12 on dinner menu). We found out the discrepancy once we saw the bill at the end. $2 is not a big deal, but doesn't ingratiate the restaurant to you when they just brush off the problem. Service is generally attentive. Other "weird" features include bathroom that is outside the restaurant and in the office building.
