Restaurant was so beautiful and inside looked breathtaking! Food was very very delicious!! And the one thing that made our dinner even better, Alicia!! With her suggestions and her kindness and peaceful spirit, made our night even more wonderful!! She was very patient answering our questions and very helpful when. We were deciding on what to eat!! She deserves a huge promotion for her outstanding service!! Thank you so much!! Until the next time!!

I’ve enjoyed Rod’s every time I’ve visited, the service & food are impeccable & the atmosphere is quiet and comfortable, the value is certainly reasonable at ~$200 for two. The only downside was the restrooms weren’t very clean. Overall an excellent experience and I highly recommend it.

The prime rib was fatty cooked not to our liking and tasteless The service was amateur for such an established place. I have eaten here many times, but have never had such a bad experience.

Been going to Rod’s Steak Hse &. Red Dog Tavern (casual side) for many yrs. Food is consistently good, service very good, and menu is more than just steaks.

A perfect place for special dinners including birthdays & anniversaries, but it’s also a great date night for couples. The main dining room is beautiful (sit upstairs if you can and enjoy the chandelier and stain glass ceiling) I love the old world elegance (but not stuffy) decor with dark wood & cozy leather booths. If you are lucky, the live piano will add to the ambiance. Service is always attentive. Steaks are excellent, fish is good. Be sure to get the mashed potatoes and onion strings on the side. Start with the BTL salad or tuna tartar. Save room for dessert, too.

We got married at The Madison Hotel 24 years ago and go back to Rod’s every year for our anniversary. No steak house compares. The food is always perfect and so is the service. You will not find a more flavourful steak anywhere. I always get the surf and turf with bernaise. The bernaise is also the best I have ever had. My husband gets the blackened delmonico and raves about it. One of our favorite dining experiences.

Martini was perfect. Specials of Salad and the beef steak kabobs completed the plate. Flavors were good, cooked perfectly. Just the to amount of food at the right price.
