Located in the charming neighborhood of Murray Hill, Rossini's has been serving fine Northern Italian Cuisine for 46 years. The genuine friendliness and warm service makes diners feel right at home in this family owned restaurant.

We specialize in Northern Italian Cuisine but also features dishes throughout the Italian Peninsula. Our cuisine is based on many long standing family recipes as well as new and innovative Italian presentations.
Our menu offers a wide variety of pasta, chicken, veal and fish dishes or our chef will prepare your favorite dish if you don't see it on the menu.

The large chairs and roomy interior provides an ambiance that is perfect for the important business lunch or the intimate romantic dinner.

Last time I was here was probably 22 + years ago. Most things are still the same... the ambience (excellent), the food (outstanding!), the friendly staff. What was odd though was that we felt rushed. We had a 5:30pm reservation and the place was pretty empty. We were seated right away and handed menus but no wine list or drinks menu was even offered. This was a huge change from previous experiences where you'd get a drink/wine list and have a cocktail or two before even SEEING the menu. There was maybe 5-7 minutes of time in between sitting down and the waiter asking what we wanted to eat. Still no drink menu. We asked for one and we ordered a drink each (we had planned on a bottle of wine but that wasn't offered... only glasses). The wine was cheap and subtracted from the dinner experience unfortunately. The food was hands-down outstanding though. VERY flavorful, excellent portion size and outstanding value. After we finished the entree we were immediately asked if we wanted desert or a check. Again... a feeling of being rushed out of there. I opted for a cheesecake which came out immediately. My wife didn't have anything. As soon as I finished, there was the waiter with the check. We paid and left. Total time from walking in to walking out was 50 minutes. I probably wouldn't go back there again mainly because the experience was so far from what one used to have there (yes I know 22+ years is a long time and there was COVID in between there as well). I can't fault the food though. Hands down a fantastic meal.
