Join us at 7,700 feet, mid-way up Bald Mountain, for a spectacular and unique dining experience. With unrivalled views of the Pioneer and Boulder Mountains and accessible only by gondola, the Roundhouse Restaurant has been serving up memorable meals, soul-warming drinks, and stunning views since 1939. Whether you are joining us for a relaxing lunch by the fire or our signature 4-course prix fixe dinner, Roundhouse offers the authentic charm of historic Sun Valley with a spectacular on-mountain dining experience.

Reservations are recommended for lunch and required for dinner. Dinner is a 4-course prix fixe menu for $125 per person. Dinner reservations include gondola access, while lunch reservations require the purchase of a lift ticket or foot traffic pass. Purchase day of at the ticket window or in advance by visiting www.sunvalley.com/tickets-passes.

                                    We had a wonderful time. Both the service and food were outstanding. Our server, "Terry" was very attentive and funny. We'll definitely book another reservation at his table. The special treat was going back down the gondola when an attendant handed us a blanket...it was very chilly. Thank you.

                                    Nestled between chairlifts high on Sun Valley's iconic ski slopes, Roundhouse is the area classic, built in the 1930's. Guests are cordially greeted into authentic, rustic, elegance with panoramic mountain views of the Sawtooth Range, a warm fire in the 4-sided fireplace and nicely set tables. The delicious chateau style menu, both food and beverage, is perfectly paired with the Roundhouse's nostalgic, movie-set ambiance. It's a must do!

                                    I usually try and dine here once or twice a season with winter being the best time to visit. You are lucky enough to be seated downstairs on a bluebird day, you will struck by the awesome views of the serene snowy mountains outside the picture windows. Stunning. The food has been consistently good over the past few years, and the lobster roll does not disappoint. It’s a small to moderate portion, so if one is super hungry you may want to opt for the croque monsieur, as it too is delish, and a bit heartier. If you’re a table of four or more, you must also start your meal with fondue. Yum. Yum.
