   Unfortunately, not the best experience. We sat at the bar and it was a quiet night. Building is the old Boston City Hall and is a cool space with views of old and historic atmosphere. The servers and the bartenders seem to be bickering and not hiding it too much from the guests. I ordered a drink from the cocktail list and asked that I swap out one of the ingredients just for lemon juice and it was met with a bit of a scowl on the bartender’s face. Once our food arrived, no one came over to ask us how it was and the dessert that was part of our pre fixe menu seemed to take a very long time to get to us once it was totally clear that we were done with our meal. Unfortunately, the food itself was a little bit below average for what this particular chain likes to present itself as. I also was disappointed to see that every single red wine option by the glass was from California with the exception of two of maybe 12 options. I’ve had other great experiences at Ruth Chris’ before, but unfortunately, this one was subpar and not up to the standards that I have seen in other locations.

   Ya know, I haven’t been here in a while and now I remember why we stopped coming. There is zero ambience. The music was so low we could hear our neighbors chew. The lights were too bright, there was no privacy. Almost a little awkward. Misha was great! Friendly and attentive. Our drinks did take longer to get than they should have considering it wasn’t that busy, but not for his lack of trying. Food was great! Tiny little plates the steaks came on worked out well for the tiny sides portions. We wouldn’t not come back, but probably won’t make it a priority.

   Our server, Melissa , was great. Disappointed on the seating, as it felt like cafeteria seating.

   Fabulous. We came for graduation celebration. Ruth’s Chris did not disappoint. Lamb chops were spectacular. Old fashioned special was perfect. Thank you for the cheesecake.

   In case you weren’t aware this location is opened for lunch - including full bar. Service was outstanding - and the meal as always was delicious. Give them a try!

    I went twice In 4 days . First time was great second time the steaks were not cooked to our request.
