Located at the top of the Ossington strip, Salt wine bar offers a modern progressive approach to Iberian/Canadian tapas. Salt is a bustling, cozy, communal tapas bar with great energy. Our guests enjoy artisanal cheeses, Iberian charcuterie and an excellent variety of small plate dishes. Chef Dave Kemp is strongly committed to using seasonal and local products whenever possible. Our cellar contains an extensive list of Portuguese and Spanish wines which complement each and every dish.

                                                            It was my first time going to Salt Wine Bar and I was super happy I chose it to grab a drink with a friend. The staff was very nice and we got the truffle dip to share (which was divine). Overall, I’d definitely recommend coming here!

                                                            No matter how much time passes between visits to SALT, it never disappoints. There are always some noteworthy, delicious additions to the menu with every visit that adds a variety of excellent taste & quality. Can't say enough about Philip who runs the show. Do yourself a favour when you visit, if you like many things you read on the menu just let Philip know your taste preferences and allow him to curate your evening. Annually I make a point of visiting new, highly rated restaurants in the GTA. Few meet my expectations but SALT WINE BAR, always meets or exceeds them. Cheers!

                                                            A staple of the Ossington strip. Food is excellent, but pricey. Portions were good, but they’re designed more for 2 (I visited as a party of 4). A great place to bring a date, with a relaxed vibe all around. Would go again.

                                                            At a time where food costs are outrageous and many restaurants are opting to serve mediocre dishes, the food at Salt (truffle gnocchi especially) was amazing!!!!

                                                            This is one of our favourite restaurants in the city. The food is always exceptional, the service is great, and the restaurant atmosphere is refined yet vibrant. It makes sense that Salt Wine Bar has been around for so long - because it checks all the boxes.

                                                            We purposely go out of our way to dine here. One of our favourite restaurants in Toronto! Always start anticipating Dino g here 2 days in advance! Fantastic service, especially Patricia! Extensive and eclectic wine list , reasonably priced with bottles ready to drink now , not newer vintages that need more time like most other restaurants. And the food is always amazing and authentic

                                                            Outstanding service, great ambiance. Most of the dishes were 10/10 but the duck breast was very dry so I can’t give five stars for the food. I will definitely go again
