We waited for over an hour before receiving water!! At the 1.5hr mark, we finally got our drinks. At the 2hr mark, we finally got most of our food. We had ordered bread and butter as an appetizer but only half the order came and it came with the food. Then we were missing my son’s cheeseburger, so now it’s 9pm and he still doesn’t have he food… oh and one of the entrees didn’t come because they were out of it, but no one told us, so then we had to wait for his meal to be cooked. The whole thing was so insane! Management needs to do a better job staffing and ensuring things are run properly. Almost ruined our NYE celebration. Will never come back on a holiday or busy time, but it’s too bad because the food was awesome.

Sanderlings has an eclectic menu of very good cuisine at a reasonable price. When combined with an outstanding setting featuring a full ocean view, it is a place to remember and frequent.

Overall Bad Experience. Maintenance Crew proceeded to make booth repair with air compressor unit mid way through brunch in main dinning room. Unacceptable.

The food was mediocre and made me sick. The ambiance is not as reflected in the photos online. It felt like eating in a retirement home. The pork chop was good but everything else was a major disappointment.

My husband ordered the pasta, delicious!! I ordered the steak, and it was wonderful. We ordered the brussels sprouts too. My mouth is watering. I can hardly wait to go back.

We also went to the Sanderlings Thanksgiving buffet last year, and our experience was very different this year. Last year we sat downstairs in the dining room near a window, which was attractive and pleasant. This year we were upstairs in what felt very much like a hotel conference room. The ambience was disappointing. Last year the buffet included a seafood bar and a carving station, neither of which were present this year. This was a much simpler buffet. The food was good, but not as impressive as last year. The dessert selection also seemed smaller, and it was not kept fully stocked. We’ll do something else next year.

Overpriced for the quality of food and service. Te waiter was shoving the bill to us before we were done eating and plates were cleared. It was an odd experience. We’ll dine elsewhere next time.

Return of head chef Ben Hillan has brought a refreshed menu of locally sourced fish, meat and produce. Highly recommend the Black Cod, Dungeness Crab Salad, Prosciutto wrapped Halibut and Steak Bavette.
