Scaramouche is one of the best restaurants in Toronto, without a doubt, and perhaps the best in the non-sushi category (for some reason, Toronto is blest with first-rate sushi chefs). The food is delicious, expertly designed and prepared, and presented beautifully. The wine-list is choice and the wait staff knowledgeable and attentive. Any meal there will be one to remember, and I recommend taking time to enjoy the fare attentively. Highest recommendation.

Fabulous as always. It's a joy coming to this restaurant. Don't change a thing! Food excellent, service excellent, location perfect, ambience GREAT!

All was perfect with one exception. The maitre d and the fellow who was to seat us were carrying on a conversation, ignoring us. Then we had to give him our name 3 times. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, humourous and attentive. Other wait staff were also very attentive.

The food and presentation were excellent. We ordered Lamb Rack and fish, and they were both too good. Even the service was A1. I will definitely plan to go again.

Wonderful private table with breath-taking view of Toronto. Excellent service and delicious food. We were able to converse easily without shouting and the tables were well-spaced. A lovely evening.

Eating at Scaramouche restaurant had been on my wish list for years. In 2020 when in restaurant dining wasn't possible, I ordered take out for a milestone birthday. Last night, on a rainy November evening, I finally had a chance to go. It was a very memorable meal. I had a Snapdragon cocktail, Mushroom pasta, Halibut (without bacon or veal jus) a glass of Pinot gris from Niagara, Coconut cream pie and a decaf Cappuccino. My friend had a glass of Pinot noir from Languedoc France , an Endive salad and the Salmon special. It was the best meal that I've had in years. I look forward to returning someday for a second memorable experience.
