Offering spectacular, picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean, Sierra Mar restaurant at Post Ranch Inn is a farm-driven restaurant that celebrates the coastal bounty of Big Sur and our neighboring communities. Our dishes are centered around the dialogue of balance: on the plate, between sea and land, with sustainability always in mind. Selections from our Wine Spectator Grand Award-winning wine list enhance the inspired cuisine.

We have a family-style lunch experience for $75 per person. Our dinner experience is priced at $175 per person. Lunch and Dinner is available to the general public, however space is limited and reservations in advance are required. The minimum age for guests is 18 years old and pets are not allowed.

Non-hotel guests will be welcomed at the gate house no more than 30 minutes prior to their reservation.

Perfect atmosphere to have a lunch in front of the Pacific Ocean. Very polite and kind staff. The food was very good.

The food and view and service were impeccable. The chef accommodated our vegetarian request without any issue. An excellent dining experience.

Wow, wow, wow! The sunset was spectacular. The service was excellent. The food was Michelin star worthy, for sure. The prices, though very high, were well worth a very special experience. Overall, a perfect Christmas dining experience. Hoping to stay a couple of nights this summer. Thank you!

The food was quite bland, but the wine pairing made a big difference and elevated the experience. On its own, the food lacked depth and the right balance of flavors

Exceptional meal and service. Quality was exceptional. On the pricey side butt worth it due to superb quality and good sized portions Appetizers and salad were served family style and could have been a good lunch by itself. Entres were delicious. We had striped bass, flat iron steak and chicken. All 3 were perfectly cooked and tasty but not overly salty. Strong recommendation 5 stars

Loved every bite and sip from start to finish. Service was amazing- thank you for spoiling us. The flatiron steak was a standout. Can’t wait to do it all again!
