Solé Restaurant and Wine Bar is situated in a 150 year old Seagram’s building, minutes west of the Waterloo Uptown Core. The interior soars two stories high to a timber frame ceiling, exposed brick and generous wood finishes, set the tone for an elegant yet casual experience.

The menu will transport your palate to a bistro somewhere in Europe. Items ranging from fresh-baked pizzas, pastas, vegetarian entrées, steaks, and seafood will satisfy any appetite. An extensive award winning wine list, great selection of Scotch, local and imported beers on tap complement the experience. Service is professional yet friendly. My husband and I enjoyed an excellent dinner, rutabaga soup to start. He had the sweet potato lasagna and I had the chicken Vera salad. We loved everything. Great service and ambiance. Will definitely return.

We had our team holiday lunch at Sole and it was fantastic. I had the chicken and it was delicious - tender and well seasoned. The service was perfect. Just the right amount of attentiveness so we could chat and enjoy our meal. It was wonderful. Definitely recommend.

My overall experience was good. I did find that the prices were a bit inflated.

We have always loved sole but now we love sole even more. Sole is our number one choice for dining in kw. Jason and staff have done an exceptional job with the transformation and we are thrilled with the quality of the service, the food is incredible and the ambience of the restaurant is so improved - warm and inviting yet classy. Great job to the service staff and kudos to the chef and culinary team for always delivering top notch flavours and dishes that delight.

Sole is always a great date night spot for us! Great shareable food from the apps to a salad and a woodfire pizza! Love it!
