Solé Restaurant and Wine Bar is situated in a 150 year old Seagram’s building, minutes west of the Waterloo Uptown Core. The interior soars two stories high to a timber frame ceiling, exposed brick and generous wood finishes, set the tone for an elegant yet casual experience.

The menu will transport your palate to a bistro somewhere in Europe. Items ranging from fresh-baked pizzas, pastas, vegetarian entrées, steaks, and seafood will satisfy any appetite. An extensive award winning wine list, great selection of Scotch, local and imported beers on tap complement the experience. Service is professional yet friendly. We had a very nice dinner for two after going to a movie. We had the salmon and the burger and both were excellent. We received exceptionally friendly service from Rachel.

Noise level was NOT energetic but LOUD as folks had to talk over the music. Even as folks were leaving the music got louder which made conversation difficult. The wait staff had to repeat to be understood. Much nicer with no music and just pleasant conversation. Food was enjoyable but eaten faster than savouring due to the irritation of noise

Very good restaurant, very good food and service! My only comment is that the room was a little cold, but a sweater solved it.

I had a small business meeting with a friend. We both had the salmon salad and it was excellent, the salmon prepared exactly the way I like it. The service was outstanding as Katie took very good care of us. I will be back soon.

just ok sweet potato lasagna little flavour and room temperature real effort to get ice and more water vegan/vegetarian menu the city is full of pastry desserts sorbet? seems very weak dessert not a very good experience really wildcraft is a 10 this was a 5

Overall, I was very pleased with the food and service at Solè -- as usual. This is a great place for celebrating special occasions with family. One minor suggestion is that the Pavlova was too dry for my taste and perhaps could have been made better. Regardless, five stars from my end.

Server was fantastic. Food delivery had the proper pace. Food was well prepared, hot, and delicious. Noise level was a bit high with the open dining room concept.

We had a wonderful brunch birthday celebration. The mimosas, breakfast food and Creme Brulé were all excellent. Anna did a great job looking after us. It was a very nice celebration.
