Steiner Ranch Steakhouse is a 14,000 sq ft restaurant built in the hill country overlooking Lake Travis. We have three levels, four bars, and a large outdoor dining area with breathtaking views. All steaks are hand-selected Prime beef cuts, seasoned, broiled to order, and topped with our house butter blend with caramelized shallots and chives.                                                                                                   There was almost no parking available when we got there. We waited 40 minutes to be seated and we had reservations. It took 20 minutes just to get a cocktail. And the wine prices were absurd. A glass of Caymus 2022 was $55 and the bottle was $235. I know wine in the restaurant is more than what you pay for it at the grocery or liquor store. But a glass is more expensive than I would pay for a bottle? The bottle price was over 4x the cost. Not impressed and I took clients there for dinner. At least the food was good.

                                                                                                  Absolutely awful! Service was terrible probably due to understaffing. I come here a lot and was so disappointed . Had to chase down waitress 3x…. Steak was late and nearly flavorless. But at least it didn’t come with the stigma of low cost :(

                                                                                                  Good drinks. Food ok not great 3 fillet meat was tender but many fiberous knots. Cowboy Ribeye ok not great. Meat was cooked properly and to request. We expected prime meat. It was select+. Sides were so so with scalloped potatoes not really scalloped but rather potatoes with melted cheese on top. Apertizers: seared Tuna very good. Crab medley not good with funky taste. Crab stuffed mushrooms very good. Queso salsa a bit too salt and smokey. Initial service was good. Hostess not acommodating. She seemed confused and did not give the table we wanted right next to ours even though it remained available the whole time we were there. Said that we had to go back out to reception and wait again to be seated if we wanted it. Sounds stupid and it was. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it since i was entertaining clients. Waitress amicable but seemed high, lost and didn't have it together. We had to ask for her to get our check after 20 min waiting

                                                                                                  Steiner Ranch never disappoints it’s a holiday special place for our family. The steaks are magnificent especially the T-bones. I had pasta carbonara with shrimp. It was absolutely dishes and she crab soup. I would highly recommend that great selection of wines and beers. Overall, never disappoint. You can always count on them. I will return many times in the future.
