Steiner Ranch Steakhouse is a 14,000 sq ft restaurant built in the hill country overlooking Lake Travis. We have three levels, four bars, and a large outdoor dining area with breathtaking views. All steaks are hand-selected Prime beef cuts, seasoned, broiled to order, and topped with our house butter blend with caramelized shallots and chives.                                                                                                   The food is excellent along with impeccable service. The wine list is extensive and pricey. The noise level is almost unbearable making it difficult to hear your partner.

                                                                                                  My primary negative was due to my poor service. The waiter brought me a wine while I waited for my friend who was running late. I sat there for 30 minutes with no one stopping by...I go to the hostess stand and ask them to send the waiter. 10 minutes later nothing. Next I tell them to send the manager...the manager and the waiter show up right away. I tell the manager the situationand she didn't offer to comp anything at all. She just said ok, here's your waiter.

                                                                                                  We have been to Steiner Ranch many times, and this time was the worst experience with service. We had to ask for refills for drinks (I was never offered if I wanted more water after my martini was delivered.), grab the to-go boxes off the tray, and food was delivered before appetizers were picked up. It seemed that because there was a party of 6, the gratuities were included no matter the service. The room was very loud with a party next to us so that was disappointing too but they can’t control that. The food was amazing. Just disappointed.

                                                                                                  There was almost no parking available when we got there. We waited 40 minutes to be seated and we had reservations. It took 20 minutes just to get a cocktail. And the wine prices were absurd. A glass of Caymus 2022 was $55 and the bottle was $235. I know wine in the restaurant is more than what you pay for it at the grocery or liquor store. But a glass is more expensive than I would pay for a bottle? The bottle price was over 4x the cost. Not impressed and I took clients there for dinner. At least the food was good.

                                                                                                  Absolutely awful! Service was terrible probably due to understaffing. I come here a lot and was so disappointed . Had to chase down waitress 3x…. Steak was late and nearly flavorless. But at least it didn’t come with the stigma of low cost :(

                                                                                                  Good drinks. Food ok not great 3 fillet meat was tender but many fiberous knots. Cowboy Ribeye ok not great. Meat was cooked properly and to request. We expected prime meat. It was select+. Sides were so so with scalloped potatoes not really scalloped but rather potatoes with melted cheese on top. Apertizers: seared Tuna very good. Crab medley not good with funky taste. Crab stuffed mushrooms very good. Queso salsa a bit too salt and smokey. Initial service was good. Hostess not acommodating. She seemed confused and did not give the table we wanted right next to ours even though it remained available the whole time we were there. Said that we had to go back out to reception and wait again to be seated if we wanted it. Sounds stupid and it was. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it since i was entertaining clients. Waitress amicable but seemed high, lost and didn't have it together. We had to ask for her to get our check after 20 min waiting
