Steiner Ranch Steakhouse is a 14,000 sq ft restaurant built in the hill country overlooking Lake Travis. We have three levels, four bars, and a large outdoor dining area with breathtaking views. All steaks are hand-selected Prime beef cuts, seasoned, broiled to order, and topped with our house butter blend with caramelized shallots and chives. It is the perfect destination any night of the week.

                                                                                                  What a way to celebrate an Anniversary. I had always wanted to try Steiner Ranch but it is a 40 minute drive - definitely worth it! We were surprised by how many cars were in the lot even at 5:30! I am glad we sat inside, the patio is much more lively and loud - but will consider it next time. The portion sizes are very large - so appetizers are very shareable! The steaks were cooked to perfection, the asparagus and mashed potatoes were yummy and the surprise dessert to celebrate our milestone was very welcome, even tho most came home with us. Charles, our server, was very attentive, friendly, kind, and funny. Is this place pricey? Yes! But well worth any celebration you may have or you just want some really really good food.

                                                                                                  Fantastic did and service for a lovely birthday dinner with my boyfriend. We had the medallion trio and filet mignon, both phenomenal. My sides were great too! Lovely view for a lovely night, Micheal was a fantastic server and we loved my birthday treat.

                                                                                                  My wife and I of 19 years had a rare date night and Steiner Ranch has been on the list for some time. Jeffreys was our previous go to, however time to mix it up. Parking lot was congested as is expected on a Saturday evening, however nice drop off for those that fancy old fashioned ways. Parked without issues. Was welcomed in to my wife already seated for our reservation. We were seated past a very noisy and somewhat disorderly bar area that made it a bit less special , more of the location for upscale drinkers. The glass patio indoors is beautiful, however far too many tables. We were placed next to four tables for a large party. They were incredibly loud and impacted the ambience severely. The service is remarkable, with everyone checking in to ensure the evening is going well. Given a mere 2 feet away was a intoxicated party of 12, we could not disclose our concerns. I am above average height (76") , however the beautiful view of the area allowed us to focus on the evening. Wonderful selection of gluten Free and the backlit menus are a nice touch with low lighting. Our appetizer and timing of service was spot on. My wife ordered one of the many steaks available and it was cooked to perfection. I ordered the Steiner burger which sounded amazing and is am incredible value. Coupled with French onion soup and a small salad, a large to go box would soon be required. I requested my burger medium rare, our waitress responded with something akin to not an option, candidly it was so loud I could not hear her. I responded with an acknowledgement under the impression it would be at least medium. I received an absolutely torched burger, although seasoned remarkable, the burger was ruined. I suppose that's what I get for ordering a burger at a nice restaurant, I only cared about time out with my wife. Overall a very nice place that I assume would have been far better sans the table next to us and the very loud bar. Advise couples that want to speak arrive much earlier.
