We had dinner for my 60th Birthday celebration. I chose Lelli's Inn on the Green because we knew the ambiance would be quiet and intimate. It was both. However, the food did not meet our expectations. The salad was made with mostly chunks of iceberg lettuce instead of salad greens and the salmon that I ordered as an add-on to my salad was overcooked. My husband ordered a pasta dish with chicken and it was a massive helping of pasta - enough for 3 or more meals and the waiter forgot to add the chicken to the order. He did bring the chicken out a little later. His pasta was unappealing and blah - not a lot of taste to it. We ordered the carrot cake for dessert and it was super dry and almost frozen, it was so cold! The final bill with 3 glasses of wine was over $200. We could have had a much, much better quality of food elsewhere for half of that price. Don't come for the food, but if you want a sort of stuffy, intimate setting from the 1920's (Frank Sinatra music playing), and want to pay way more than the food is worth, then by all means come to this restaurant. Otherwise, save you money and go elsewhere.

We had a lovely birthday dinner! Service was extremely attentive. Food portions were very generous and food was excellent. Somewhat interesting decor with modern decor and we loved the high backed leather chairs. So comfortable when you are eating lots of Italian food! Would dine there again.

Calamari was rubbery and clearly frozen and reheated. 6oz filet was medium rare and cold in the middle, barely cooked. Minestrone and sides were good. Save yourself the money and go somewhere else.

20 minutes before server showed up to table after seating. Server only checked in every 30 minutes. Charged for a drink we never received. Ordered pasta that took 1.5 hours. Server said other table kept him busy and that’s why our service was bad. Server offered me $20 out of his pocket for overcharged drink because it was going to take him too long to adjust the bill. Waters never refilled. Started out with a good table ended up with an awful experience. It was New Year’s Eve so I understood how busy they were but the $20 offer was really weird and never having a full water or drink was annoying for a $250 dinner.

Being New Years Eve, we were sat on the enclosed patio and waited some 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge that we had not been helped. Service was somewhat slow and they were out of the wine I selected, but suggested I pick another and they would not charge me more than the one selected. Food was great when it arrive and the attention by the waiter improved during service so our evening felt like a typical meal here!

Be it known my visit was at 5:30 New Year’s Eve, so prices and crowd were not “usual”. The service was actually very good given the level of chaos. The Shrimp Lelli appetizer lived up to its reputation, though temperature was not optimal. House salad was perfect - fresh greens and chilled. I ordered the New York strip which was cooked perfectly and delicious. The quality of my steak was exceptional! The potato and vegetable sides were also great, but again temperature was not optimal. My biggest complaint was the noise level which I attribute to the holiday. All staff, including the valet were pleasant and friendly. I will definitely return for a non-holiday experience!
