Sushi Ran is a longstanding Japanese restaurant located in Sausalito, California that specializes in sushi. The restaurant prepares menu items utilizing fresh fish delivered from Tokyo daily and features a casual, family friendly dining atmosphere.

Hiya Loved having the sushi counter open for the omakase Feedback: Would love to see a smaller option and not just the 18 course meal…. Also the chef should ask about the tempo of the service…he is great but a bit slower then the productivity of the chefs in the pre Covid world of 2010-2020 Not everyone wants to sit for 2.5 hours Thank you for bringing it back !!!

This restaurant never disappoints! The staff is on top of everything, service is kind and fast, food is consistently outstanding. It’s one of our favorites in Marin! Pro tip: order the dumplings, tempura, sunomono salad w crab, crunch roll or the sushi or sashimi plate. Save room for dessert bc their sorbet trio is always good. The spinach salad and mixed greens salad are also good. Black cod melts in your mouth. Basically, order everything - it’s all good!

And the food is the best in the area. The fish is fresh and served artistically. The plates of each menu delicacy are beautiful and appetizing. They say, “don’t walk to Sushi Ran, just run”!

Excellent sushi. Dishes are always fresh & delicious. Loved the Crunch role it melts in your mouth. The dumplings are so fresh & tasty. Overall Sushi Ran doesn’t disappoint!

We ate at the new sushi bar, OMG. This was the best meal I have ever had. Eli is a master and he made it a dinner and a show. A birthday dinner to remember! Thank you Yoshi! So grateful.

We had heard so much about Sushi Ran ever since we moved to Northern California. It met up to all of the hype. Clean beautiful space, amazing service and the food was impeccable! Lovely to meet the owner as well that was greeting all of the guests! Highly recommend!!!
