Nestled in Perimeter Village Center on Ashford Dunwoody Road you will find Taki Japanese Sushi & Hibachi Restaurant . The Asian Fusion atmosphere and décor is perfect for couples on a romantic date night or a family looking for a special dining experience. Taki also caters to the business crowd looking for a unique relaxing atmosphere. Our mission is to provide excellent fresh food, attentive and polite staff amid the most beautiful environment in the area. Whether you prefer the Hibachi rooms, 30 foot sushi bar or a table in the Dining Room - customer service is our first concern. Taki selects only the freshest ingredients for its expansive mouth watering menu which includes appetizers, entrees, sushi and sashimi and desserts. Full Bar, Beer and Wine available. We were there for a birthday dinner for our daughter, the waitress came in to take our order and said “all right, we’re gonna order drinks and food right away” as if we were being rushed through for some reason. The food was great. The chef fantastic. The waitress was very pleasant but treated a $290 meal like a fast food restaurant. We were done in less than 1 hour, definitely not a relaxing dinner. Thankfully we have kids and getting in and out was fine since it was a school night. It would be great if they could mop the multilayer thick cleaner residue off the floors so it doesn’t feel like I’m walking on top of the backside of a sticker and update the decor throughout, even just a little bit. There are so few hibachi places in atlanta that it would be nice to have one that serves a meal that has an experience worth the $290 we paid for it.

Disaster! Had a 6:30 reservation, seated at 6:55, chef started at 7:30. Said it was my daughter’s birthday in res & check in. Chef didn’t do the fun things like catch the egg or singing Happy Birthday, even though chef next to us did for a bday. Because they were so behind they scrunched a whole bunch of people together. Not fun. While we were still eating our meal someone came to clean. He flung the dirty water everywhere. Gross. And when the check arrived, you’d think they would comp the two sodas & fried rice upcharge as some gesture of an apology. Nope. The food was really good, but I’ll not go back.

Our chef was fantastic, the food was great and his personality really shined! Courtney was amazing and very attentive too! This made for a wonderful birthday celebration!

Food was just ok. Show was nothing special. I wish for the money we spent on our daughter's Bday was more worth it. The meal itself was not really great. Not excited to go back there anytime soon, which is a shame, since we do not live far from there.

This was my 80th birthday celebration with my family of 5! The food was delicious, the cook, the servers and every employee we interacted with were absolutely amazing and treated us like celebrities, even though we are just average Brookhaven residents! It was a delightful experience and we will be going again!

Maybe it was an off night. Dunno. But both my host (hibachi filet & scallops) and I (hibachi chicken) became ill that night, albeit from separate ends (if you get my drift). I love hibachi made meals and will go elsewhere in the future.

The food at this hibachi restaurant was a bit disappointing. Some of our dishes were overcooked and slightly burned, which affected the overall taste. It also seemed like the chef might have been new, as the performance lacked the usual flair and skill we've come to expect from hibachi chefs. Additionally, when we requested to speak with a manager about our experience, the front desk staff directed us to leave a Google review instead of addressing our concerns in person. This lack of customer service left us feeling unheard and frustrated. Overall, it was a poor experience, and we hope that the restaurant can improve its food quality and customer service in the future.

Good Tokyo style decor though large. Menu pretty standard American version of Japanese - choice of hibachi or tables, nothing too strange. The fried oysters are better than one often experiences. it's ok/good, and its biggest recommendation is its the only decent Japanese that I know of in this area.
