A social atmosphere fit for a president. Join us where vibrant cocktail culture meets fun elegance and comfort food at this Dupont Circle neighborhood favorite. It is said that while President Theodore Roosevelt loved to eat, to him the dinner table was less an occasion for fine dining than as a springboard for conversations. In keeping with this, we have created a stunning interior design for Teddy and the Bully Bar that keeps patrons talking. Reflecting Theodore Roosevelt’s love for simple American comfort food, including steaks, oysters, fried chicken and house-made cornbread, our seasonal menus feature a contemporary twist on classic comfort dishes with a focus on quality, local and simplicity. We pay special attention to sourcing from our local producers, representing President Roosevelt’s belief to “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” We offer an exciting happy hour, energetic bottomless brunch (Sundays), and a perfect match of social energy and food culture.

Enjoy chicken & waffles & also indulge in many other options from our menu. Not only do you have unlimited plates of food, we have a made to order Belgian Waffle & Omelet station. Pick your favorite topping or fillings from the Chef's Table. The two hour experience includes bottomless mimosas or bellinis. There's even an ice cream bar with great flavors & toppings. Come and commemorate the greatness of MLK and celebrate with us as we are bringing to you our all you can eat brunch small plates++. This 2-hour experience includes all the brunch food you can eat, endless mimosas or bellinis and unlimited chef crafted omelet and waffle bar. It's a feast you won't forget. The music will be bumpin' and the atmosphere will be filled with all positive vibes from 10am until 4pm (last seating at 3pm). Peace, love and unity is what we are asking from everyone on this amazing celebratory day. Help us honor this great humanitarian and historical figure. Our server was inattentive at best. We went 20-minutes or more several times before seeing anyone again. For a “bottomless brunch,” glasses sat empty for long stretches and plates were not cleared in a timely manner. We waited an eternity for a Bloody Mary to be delivered and waited even longer to place another food order. Furthermore, our server would take partial orders at the table then disappear again — leaving guests with nothing for long stretches. The food was tasty, but our service was basically subpar. What’s more… they sat some guests who arrived 30-minutes before our reservation and took drink orders. So those who arrived on time were cut short on our 2-hour brunch. Our group left a “bottomless brunch” and went elsewhere to eat because people were hungry and couldn’t get orders placed. This is NOT what I expect from a “bottomless brunch” and not what I expect from this restaurant. Dinner service is far superior. I will not be returning for brunch. Disappointed.

A wonderful Christmas dinner here. Food was plentiful and well prepared. Starter and dessert served by waiter. The main course and sides were buffet. Choice of turkey, salmon, lamb, and/or ham. Dozen side dishes. Something for all tastes. Loved the warm rolls. Plenty of street parking on Christmas but not regular work days.. Our second Christmas here. Plan to return next Christmas. Also I have eaten here on other occasions and food is uniformly good.

Came for Christmas meal. Great staff. Very nice efficient set up. Expensive for anywhere but DC at Christmas. Booth was especially good seating choice. Very nice buffet with excellent choices of sides and carving meats. Great rolls although would have liked with meal/more than one per person. Choice of first course and dessert okay, neither leek soup or beet salad, nor apple tres leche or flourless chocolate torte nearly as good as sides on buffet. Decent wine list with european choices..

Thanks to Randall we had an unforgettable brunch. The bottomless brunch is a good value and it was fun to try lots of different things. The flatbreads were my favorite.
