    My family and I celebrated my birthday here last evening. The whole experience was exceptional. The concierge greeted us and seated us immediately. Our server, Keith, was welcoming, attentive to our needs and provided great dinner suggestions. We ordered the Harvest Salad, Halloumi Salad, Short Rib Pot Roast, Pan Seared Royal Seabass, and the Blackened Salmon. For dessert, we had the carrot cake, a variety of Ted’s tarts, a peppermint chocolate milkshake and a peanut butter chocolate banana milkshake. Everything was amazing. Each course from the appetizers to the desserts were perfectly time and and spot on. Each dish was well seasoned and served at the appropriate temperature. I can’t say enough about Keith, our server, who took great care of us. He was great. He kept the glasses filled and cleared the plates and most importantly took time with my 93 year old mother. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday experience. Thanks Ted’s Bulletin. We’ll be back soon.

    I was dining with my son and another friend, both of whom are young adults with disabilities. Compared to the other tables around us, our service was very poor. Once the server took the order, we did not see him again until we proactively found him for the check. All of our water glasses were empty for the entire meal, and our server had a full water pitcher and was filling everyone’s glasses around us, even went they were lot empty. We asked for the check, and it never came. My friend went up to the manager and complained, and she did nothing. The server saw her do that, and then brought over the check. I have been in a lot of situations where people treat people with disabilities very poorly. Unfortunately, this was one of them. If I had not had the comparison to how attentive the server was to all of the tables around us, I would have simply chalked it up to overall bad service. When we left, again, the manager said nothing, but « have a nice night ». The server was purposefully next to her; I guess he wanted to refute anything we said. I let it go, until I received this feedback email from the restaurant.

    I was in from out of town. I hadn't been to Ted's in eight years. Always a favorite. We had never been for dinner, always brunch. The host/ server was fantastic! The restaurant was very empty except for a family with four really loud, screaming kids. We sure wish someone had said something. They were running everywhere, throwing napkins, and even though there were probably ten customers total besides this family... we could hardly hear each other talk. Ugh. I ordered the beef on pasta. Good taste, but the beef was mostly fat. I think I had four small bites of beef. My friend had the chicken piccata. She reported that there was hardly any chicken in the dish. Taste was good. We ordered desserts. Always a treat. Restaurant was very clean and orderly. Well only he back got breakfast in the future,

    Food was decent but we were very rushed, we were on a date night and were in and out in less than 42 minutes. We got apps and entrees at same time, everytime we asked for something like dessert it was suggested we get it to go.

    I always visit here when my family comes to DC. Went again and had delicious truffle fries and french toast. Our server was great.
