The Cellar is the BEST restaurant in Corning, NY and we are there whenever we are in town - a creative and delicious menu, a fantastic bar, a 30 page wine list(!) and a staff that *enjoys* the restaurant business. Our Server, Kortney - was wonderful, made us feel welcome and made great suggestions.

Had a lovely tapas style dinner for 5 adults, one of whom is vegetarian and another with a peanut allergy. Our server was thoughtful and accommodating, and there was plenty on the menu for everyone to enjoy. Had a great local Finger Lakes wine with dinner. I must have inadvertently hit the “special occasion” button on the reservation and at the end of the meal our server brought us individual bite size portions of ice cream even though the only “special occasion” was that we were all together for a fancy meal. So sweet.

The attention to quality of ingredients was evident in every course. Our server Emmet was knowledgeable of offerings and his timing was impeccable but did not give us a feeling of being rushed at all. This is a highly recommended dining experience

Experienced some delays in service, taking orders, etc. Food wasn't as good as it normally is - wasn't quite worth the amount paid.

Stopped overnight for the Corning glass museum and had dinner at the Cellars. What a nice experience! Chilean Sea bass for me and duck for my husband were both very tasty dishes with wonderful presentation. Cranberry pomegranate sherbet with porto for desert was amazing. Our waitress Kortney was very very nice and friendly, she recommended all of our dishes and we left our plates spotless. Can’t thank her enough for making our dinner even more enjoyable. Hope to come back!
