Welcome to The Crown at Burchetts Green.

My aim has always been to offer beautiful food in an authentic English pub. Dishes that are heart-warming, seasonal, and packed with flavor. All I wanted was for our guests to return home happy and contented! This aim established our reputation and remains firmly in place today.

At The Crown, our hospitality will be based on exactly these principles - seasoned, I hope, with a pinch of added ambition in the kitchen. And on the floor front-of-house, you will be greeted and looked after by Amber Flint and her team.

A hidden gem with a great chef/patron and an amazingly affordable set lunch menu as well as an imaginative a la carte.

Lovely food, wine and atmosphere. Had a wonderful chicken ham and leek pie, tasted so fresh and delicious. Carafe of Riesling was divine. Service attentive but not pushy, altogether a great evening. Parking easy too.

The menu options made selection a bit of a challenge. All choices made by our party of 4 were very good. Service was friendly and never OTT. Given it was a Friday evening it seemed very short on diners, which led to the atmosphere/environment being less than ideal. Difficult to understand the lack of custom given the quality of food and friendly service.

A perfect lunch executed and served by absolute professionals. A lovely warm welcome when we arrived set the tone for a very well paced relaxing lunch. The floor team were charming and polite and knew their trade well and of course the food was spot on as one would expect from the experienced hands at the helm. The quality of ingredients shines through in every dish and each course crafted to just the right level without being overly fussy. The warm and intimate dining room would make a superb evening date as well I’ve no doubt. Highly recommended, this place needs to be tried, appreciated and returned to regularly.

Outstanding dinner with plenty of choice. Very quiet in restaurant But no one noticed as service very efficient A lovely evening
